About that huge purple gap, what do you guys think?
Are we just leaving it there so Australia can use it to support Taiwan and we can say to chinese:

"Hey, we can't intercept something that isn't on aur radar, so... deal with it."

???
Satrad Takalar Ujung Pandang (Makassar) soon

Makassar is quite important for aviation btw. 18.000 ft above in Eastern Indonesia (areas with airport ICAO code WAxx) you contact Ujung Control rather than Jakarta Control. It’s weird if Makassar or Ujung Pandang (or around) don’t have any military radar capabilities – roughly, radar that can track object without transponder (XPDR).

Edit: And don’t forget the Suhoi (11th Squadron)

never learn from the past
difficult parts, mro must carry the entire frame, short life missile, pesa radar, caatsa. I don't know what's in HRO's mind if this really happened.

i suggest If want to relax the relationship, start first by equipping a land fleet that is not high risk

oh ya, this is only obrolan angkringan :D

I remember reading an excerpt from an academic paper by TNI AU personnel describing the shortfalls of the Flankers. Also, a high-ranking officer says they've had enough. (As in "sudah cukup") in the context of being asked whether they'd like to procure more. I think the procurement work should go to the academic side of things mixed with on-field personnel providing context and grounding the decisions, not political moves to cozy up to some country or exchange of trade.

I'm hoping it would stay as obrolan angkringan 🙏
