Here's some interesting new details:

9 billion USD for 42 J-10s, vs 8.1 billion USD for 42 Rafales.

Since the price for a J-10 is much cheaper than a Rafale, the bigger cost for the J-10 acquisition is quite something.

There is a mistake here from the journalist, the nine billion here is the overall budget for modernization, not only for J-10

A Minister but don't use Bahasa Indonesia baku, and talk as if its in a warkop.
Not big deal, but its just don't feel right and not berwibawa.

What about ToT/counter trade etc regarding J10 purchase? Is that law still in effect?

The PPA purchase doesn't seem included such thing.

the question is....what kind of J10 would buy for the AF? actually we need long range missile such as PL15E, and of course datalink from awacs

hope that if relations between Israel and Palestine improve, we will acquire early warning aircraft with Elbit stuff as a normalization ties (just a wet dream of course)

Truly strange, F16, Rafal ,Kf21, Su 30, planing for KAAN. This doesn't look like serious people to me. This looks like buying the favours. Exactly what Arabs do.
Another thing is , just like Arabs seemingly Indonesians love to have their eyes full . Wherever you turn your had " Hey presto , a plane is there". Truly strange

No indication for J35 whatsoever until now, and the contract just worth 1.6 billion for a squadron of J10s.

I don’t think those F16 and Flankers will still be here in 10-15 years to come, so our airforce isn't that diverse actually.
