Guys, it seems like in recent conflict, there is an interest in the effectiveness of infantry ATGM against armored attack. We got Javelin too yeah, but not enough, needs more of these. Also, how about considering another option to fill the requirement:

Complicated but not impossible. We already operated Israeli UAV...
Ribet. Get either American or European. If people insist on Israeli "complicated but not impossible", it is the same case with A-4 Skyhawk, meh these didn't even serve much use in the end.

Be realistic guys, strive for less complicated for straightforward choice

Pardon me those skyhawk served us really well for at least 24 years from 1980 all the way to 2004, while at least five worth flying aircraft available for TNI AU but still the higher ups feel those birds had working too hard and deserved to be retired to prevent more accident. Since they are being introduced in 1980, those birds being involved into some air to ground attack and patrol operation in East Timor, Natuna, Sulawesi and Aceh. There is even some incident and crashes during operational duty indicated those aircraft being utilized as workhorse units for many operation of TNI AU.

Then Javelin will be a more likely option. We should refrain from wishful thinking.
It isn't just wishful if they themselves who want it.

Well realistically more Javelin or korean raybolt and NLAW is good. Found something that could be mass produced here locally is good too.

And due to complicated maintenance because its' Israeli, only 5 remained operational as you said. "Working too hard" is another word for "unable to maintain any longer". Some incidents and crashes = Self-explanatory.

Unless we are fully opening diplomatic ties with Israel, it is better to ditch any idea of getting crucial hardware from them, especially if we need them in large numbers. ANY ATGM options are as good as Spike but way less complicated to get, again American or European, avoid Israel.

Such attrition rate is embarrassing, articles upon articles on the Skyhawk said that Israeli maintenance is complicated because they customized their aircraft. Added with the fact that no official diplomacy established, we have to go through several doors just to have deal with them. This kind of logic is the same as when AURI was using MIGs in Timtim, literally squeezing what's left of them before retiring them.

Israel bad idea

So go American or European. Get Javelin, NLAW, MMP, or anything, as long as it isn't Eastern or Israeli.

WTF, i am only concerned about your nonsense and bullshit about A4 is not giving much services in TNI AU. A4 served us for two decades, far more longer than previously used jet fighter aircraft in Indonesia inventory, being used in many operation and they can survive for two decades without support from their OEM manufacturing (Douglas company) for years is Testament of their worth in TNI AU services.

If there is a simpler way o get something, that's probably the better choice. Why insists on Spike even when we all know it will have to get complicated by diplomatic issues. Why this thing is so much better than even Javelin, MMP, or Raybolt, which can just be bought right away without diplomatic shenanigans, yet must be put aside just for Spike?

We are talking about the national army here, we need many, and over a long period of time. If we have to do intel ops every time we wanna buy stuff from Israeli, merepotkan ourselves it should be telling that it's not a wise choice when there are many many other choices. Unless something can only be acquired for Israel, we should refrain from Israeli products and find another supplier.
