Jakarta, IDM – Danpussenarmed Mayjen TNI Yudhy Chandra Jaya memastikan Corps Armed akan menggunakan Roket High Mobility Artillery Roket System (HIMARS) untuk memperkuat alutsista mereka ke depan.
Hal ini dikatakannya saat menerima persentasi sistem peluncuran HIMARS dari Direktur serta Pejabat PT Lookhead Martin USA dan Indonesia, di Hall Hotel Holiday in Pasteur, Bandung, Rabu, (11/1).
“Saya mengucapkan rasa bangga dan terima kasih kepada Direktur PT Lookhead Martin USA yang telah berkenan untuk memperkenalkan HIMARS kepada Pussenarmed TNI AD, karena pada dasarnya HIMARS adalah merupakan sistem dan kesenjataan yang akan dimiliki Corps Armed yang memiliki tugas pokok memberikan bantuan tembakan serta Artilery Strike,” ujar Yudhy seperti dikutip dari Instagram resminya Pussenarmed.

Jakarta, IDM - Danpussenarmed Maj. Gen. TNI Yudhy Chandra Jaya ensured that Corps Armed would use the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) to strengthen their defense system in the future.

He said this when receiving a presentation on the HIMARS launch system from the Directors and Officers of PT Lookhead Martin USA and Indonesia, at the Hotel Holiday Hall in Pasteur, Bandung, Wednesday (11/1).

"I express my pride and gratitude to the Director of PT Lookhead Martin USA for agreeing to introduce HIMARS to Pussenarmed TNI AD, because basically HIMARS is a system and weapon that will be owned by the Corps Armed which has the main task of providing fire assistance and Artillery Strike, Yudhy said as quoted from Pussenarmed's official Instagram.

Pindad showcase their latest weapons and optical sight

Jakarta, IDM - PT Pindad, a domestic defense industry company, officially held a product demonstration of their new gadgets. Reporting from the official website, Wednesday (11/1) the new products are optical sights in collaboration with a company from South Korea EOS-T, AM-1 assault rifles, PC-816 V1 and DMR SPM-1 advanced marksman rifles.

"The optical sight products tested consisted of the Red Dot Sight, Laser Aiming Device, Magnifier, and Sighting Telescope which were tested on several PT Pindad weapon products, namely the G2 Combat A1 Pistol, PC-816 V1 Assault Rifle, AM-1 Assault Rifle, Assault SS2-V4 A1, DMR SPM-1 Designated Marksman Rifle and SPR-3 Sniper Rifle," said PT PINDAD representative.
