Looking at how it can be used for a potential natural disaster that affects the sprawling islands of Indonesia, WBB consultants examined just how useful this aircraft can be in times of distress.

In a completed report commissioned by Bell that analyzes the effect of an earthquake and tsunami off the Indonesian southern coasts of Lombok and West Sumbawa, the Bell Boeing V-22 stands out as the most capable aircraft to support disaster relief over a far distance. In this scenario, the aircraft would work from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) for 24-48 hours while assessing the disaster impact on Lombok and Sumbawa. It would then transition to relief operations to the immediate vicinity of the disaster area, delivering critical supplies and evacuating at-risk personnel.

Compared to other platforms, the MV-22 can deploy directly to disaster area without little to any fuel stops. Its range, speed and endurance result in nearly twice as many cargo delivery sorties and over twice as many passengers evacuated as comparable medium lift helicopters. The V-22 Osprey has proven its success as a humanitarian and medical evacuation asset in actual, critical scenarios. This study further reinforces that the V-22 is the ideal aircraft for disaster relief missions over a large amount of terrain.

Still on low rate initial production, and the samples only being delivered to Pussenkav (Army Cavalry Directorat) and there is not much official release on their field test performance can be shared. But yeah, they already passing many test including firing, mobility and underbelly blast test, but for how much score they attained there is no release.

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Menteri Pertahanan (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto melakukan kontak dengan Menhan Jepang, Nobuo Kishi. Kontak itu terjalin pada tanggal 2 November 2020, melalui video teleconference.


"Menteri Prabowo mengucapkan selamat kepada Menteri Kishi atas pengangkatannya sebagai Menteri Pertahanan. Menteri Kishi menyampaikan apresiasinya," tulis keterangan resmi Kemenhan Jepang, Selasa (3/11).

Tak hanya saling berucap selamat, keduanya juga bertukar pandangan tentang masalah keamanan regional. Salah satu yang dibahas adalah Laut China Timur dan Laut China Selatan sehubungan dengan peristiwa terkini yang terjadi di wilayah tersebut.

Prabowo dan Kishi sama-sama menegaskan kembali pentingnya maritim yang bebas dan terbuka ketertiban berdasarkan aturan hukum.

"Menteri Kishi menyampaikan bahwa Jepang menentang setiap upaya untuk mengubah status quo secara sepihak dengan paksaan atau kegiatan apa pun yang meningkatkan ketegangan," tulisnya.

Mereka juga bertukar pandangan tentang kerja sama dan pertukaran pertahanan bilateral termasuk mempercepat pembahasan tentang kerja sama alutsista dan teknologi.

Kedua menteri sepakat untuk menggalakkan kerja sama pertahanan dalam rangka pencegahan penyebaran penyakit menular, termasuk berbagi keahlian dan pembelajaran selama operasi penanggulangan bencana, terkait dampak pandemi COVID-19.

"Dalam konteks ini, kedua menteri juga ikut serta, setuju dalam memelihara komunikasi yang erat antara otoritas pertahanan masing-masing, termasuk pertemuan "2 + 2" pada waktu yang sedini mungkin, dan secara proaktif mempromosikan kerja sama pertahanan dan pertukaran untuk menegakkan dan memperkuat Indo-Pasifik yang Bebas dan Terbuka," katanya.

There is several area can be explored for Indonesia Japan cooperation, including the use of Japanese commercial technology into military use. The recent use of Toyota Hilux engines and parts for Indonesia tactical light vehicles is one of the colab. There is planning to use Japanese medium Trucks and high duty engine for Indonesian Made APC/IFV. And there is already joint research for SAR (Synthetic-aperture radar) between Japanese university and Indonesia Air Force and already put into test for Indonesia Boeing platform.

There is lot of rebellion at the beginning of Republic and any of them quickly put into the end either with military action or persuasion. Indonesia prevail and still being the Republic we had known till today. And albeit Indonesia Army had darkness of it's own in the past even till today but they still largely being welcomed and loved by people and the Army ready to share everything they had for the people of unitary state of Republic Indonesia.
