MBT crews' traditional task (loader as loader, driver as driver, etc) itself already demands full concentration and consume a lot of energy

Better hand over the 'mothership' / C2 task to other units instead of potentially overburdened your MBT crew (tentunya bisa sharing data dgn MBT ketika dibutuhkan)

Yeah I think bad choice of word there, What I mean is UGV working in concert with other mechanized unit.

Usually the one who would use UGCV is Infantry units, not Cavalry/armor. Because most of the characteristic of UGCV is cartered toward infantry operational and requirement in minds. This not only happened in Indonesia, US and other countries who have more mature concept and Technology is indeed put infantry in minds.

As technology stands at the moment, it appears more likely that we will see a teaming of manned and unmanned systems, rather than UGVs usurping MBTs on the battlefield. Many tanks now employ remote weapons systems controlled by a human crew from inside the hull; this set-up could be adapted to control a UGV remotely from the safety of a manned vehicle.

Di ruang rapat Puslaik Kemhan Lt.10 Gedung A.H Nasution, Laksma TNI Teguh Sugiono, S.E., M.M. menandatangani dan menyerahkan Sertifikat Kelaikan Tipe Kendaraan Ringan Taktis 4×4 (Maung) kepada Bapak Zen Wahyudin VP PM & K3LH, selaku perwakilan dari PT. Pindad (Persero) sebagai pembuat Kendaraan Ringan Taktis 4×4 (Maung). Pada kegiatan penyerahan sertifikat Tipe Kendaraan Ringan Taktis 4×4 (Maung) oleh Kapuslaik Kemhan di dampingi oleh Kabid Kelaikan Darat Kolonel Cpl Dadang Hidayat S.Sos. M.M, kegiatan berjalan lancar dengan senantiasa memperhatikan dan mematuhi Protokol Kesehatan Covid-19.

Penandatanganan dan Penyerahan Sertifikat Kelaikan Tipe Kendaraan Ringan Taktis 4×4 (Maung) dilaksanakan setelah seluruh proses kegiatan Sertifikasi Kelaikan Militer yang meliputi kegiatan Aplikasi, Verifikasi Dokumen/Review Document, Pemeriksaan Kesesuaian/Conformity Inspection dan Pengujian Fungsi/Functional Test yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Tim IMLA (Indonesian Military Landworthiness Authority).

Kendaraan Ringan Taktis 4×4 (Maung) rencana akan digunakan sebagai kendaraan unsur pejabat di batalyon Infanteri TNI AD dalam rangka mendukung tugas baik tugas Latihan maupun tugas operasi demi menjaga kedaulatan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia seutuhnya
