Up 6.7 Percent, Indonesian CBU Car Exports Reach Half a Million Units

The Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) recorded an increase in total car exports (CBU) in 2023.The increase is 6.7 percent, from 473,602 units in 2022 to 505,134 units in 2023. This exceeds Indonesia's CBU car export target of 500 thousand units, from the previous year's 470 thousand units.
"This growth is quite impressive in the midst of recovery conditions after the pandemic, even though along the way there are new obstacles," said the General Secretary of Gaikindo, Kukuh Kumara in Jakarta, Tuesday (16/1).
