There is planning to use amphibious APC version of Pandur II, they would get along with Army IFV version. Cost wise Pandur is quite pocket friendly

Interesting. 105 mm pandur could be the answer of PT76 replacement actually.
(105 mm version doesn't lose its amphibious capabilities right?)

Can't do, as far as i know. Btw, the most urgent thing is to replace those BTR50, so Pandur II apc without turret would be a logical choices.

Are you sure Pandur is the answer?
I mean pandur only has capacity half of BTR 50.

Logistic issue, basic user countries, cooperation between Excalibur army and Indonesia, prospect for future upgrade, costs issue and so on

But isn't this mean our LST and LPD can only beach limited Marine infantry in one go?

They are doing the same with other Marines though, BTR 50 is archaic even Russian has long replaced them with the likes MTLB, BTR 80, BMP 2 and BMP 3

Its our wise thought, but its only twice in history of Marinir use what Army use regarding the armored vichele and it is the BDRM 1 and amx-10P that donated from the army inventory for marinir and they hate it ever since becouse none of them are good enough for their requirement. Do pandur does...?? Politcily and specificly fit for marinir ..??

For APC smaller gun would suffice.

What will the plan be? Either tracked or wheeled or both? (For APC).
