What do we got in return? I know for a fact Thailand were given F-16 for free after they let RSAF use their airbase.

If I am not wrong.
What we get is their support for Djuanda declaration or recognition as archipelagic state in the past, in which there is no international waters in between Indonesian island chains and in return Singapore Navy will be allowed to do military exercise in Indonesian waters, but this agreement have been expired not too long ago and the new agreement seems to be expanded, probably during the negotiations also including the issue about FIR handover.

Idk, what I can think of:
Military exercise -> the old one IIRC only last for 50 years and after that will be renegotiated and for the new agreement its
expanded not only navy but also RSAF now allowed, I think I also read somewhere about their Army will do joint exercise with TNI AD in Indonesian territory so we may see SG and ID leopard together in Indonesian jungle.
Probably FIR also included during the negotiations about military exercise and used as bargaining chip by SG.
As for the maritime border/ delimitation issue the last time I read news about it our govt only announced that it shows "positive sign/developments" not sure how its going.

We can't confirm nor deny if China is intent on starting war for some gas field. But China does respect power and determination.

There's a night and day difference on how China treat Philippines with that if Viet Nam and Indonesia.
