Is PC60 a pure gunboat patrol ship without missile or with missile like KCR60?

Pure 40mm & 12,7mm gunboat.

palindo already done steel cutting ceremony for that.

oh i remember there's also one built in bekasi(tesco indomaritim), but looks like this 60 meter design differ from it's counterpart that built in batam and banten, the hull and superstructure already taking shape, don't know when it's going to be launched though.

It's been 3 years and I can't seem to be able to figure it out, only referred as LCU Arsenal on the news. Can be found moored on Batuporon naval base, Madura most of the time.

Thanks, just find it. The last time I saw it, it still nowhere near that linkedin pic, thought that it was army project at first. The thing is they (Tesco) seem to play it as KCR instead of PC60 for some reason.

probably the dual purpose one, he previously mention that german shipyard have high possibilty to get awarded contract by indonesia in compared to french one >> then he mentioned the navy wants DSRV (Submarine rescue vessel) to be deployed in ocean going survey vessels.

and the recent one kinda give a clue, but take it with full jar amount of salt, "real ocean going version like in Indian Ocean".

my thought was either RV Sonne or RV Meteor, both germany owned survey vessel were operating in indian ocean.

The Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) has officially started the construction of its third PC 60 patrol craft at PT Karimun Anugrah Sejati shipyard, Batam Island, Riau Islands province.
The first two boats, currently under construction by PT Caputra Mitra Sejati at Banten province, are expected to be launched in August this year.
“We ordered five (PC 60s), one built in Batam, two in Banten, and two more units are still waiting for the construction site. Hopefully (the shipyard for the next two boats) will be decided soon,” said TNI-AL Deputy Chief of Staff, Vice Admiral Ahmad Heri Purwanto during the keel laying event at Batam on March 4.
As part of a multi-year contract for five PC 60 patrol craft worth IDR200 billion (around USD13.9 million) signed on October 28, 2021, the third PC 60 is expected to be launched in August 2023. The Indonesian Navy is planning to have these patrol craft patrolling the Malacca strait to deter piracy and to increase the security for the ships passing through that area.
PC 60 patrol craft design has a dimension of 60 meters length, 8.5 meters beam, and a displacement of about 450 tonnes. Each boat will be powered by two MTU 20V400M73 diesel engines capable of delivering 3,200 kW of power for a maximum speed of 24 knots. The boats will also have a maximum endurance of eight days under a cruising speed of 17 knots.
Each PC 60 patrol craft has a complement for 55 personnel and will be armed with a Leonardo’s Oto Marlin 40 mm cannon as well as two 12.7 mm heavy machine guns. The boats will also carry a Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boat (RHB) on their stern for ship boarding and sea rescue purposes.
In addition to these patrol boats, the Indonesian Navy is also building a number of Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs). These have been under construction since August 2021.

Should be, if they can modified the deck. And give provision for the ammunition storage and launched system

But For what? They are pure patrol vessels, 40 mm or 57 mm is more than enough.

Though i am always prefer this kind of vessels should be under Coast Guard not for the Navy.

Yeah I'm thinking the same way, for patrolling purpose should be under Bakamla, it is law enforcement, but maybe there are some that reluctant to transfer the patrolling authority to Bakamla hehehe....

back then, we still have overlapping maritime control authorizations. name it bakamla, polair, KKP, etc.

From the title tag pengawasan kontrak SEWACO it means they would put the whole system in place including Missiles and main gun
