• The KAPLAN APC will offer superior survivability on the battlefield with advanced ballistic protection and mine protection systems.

• The vehicle has a capacity to carry 13 personnel and will be able to move at high speed in the most difficult terrain and climate conditions.

• The vehicle, developed in cooperation between FNSS and PT Pindad, will be delivered in 2026 and tests will be conducted in Turkey and Indonesia.

Some Tukish twitter said this is purchase agreement.
Unfortunately this is still development agreement between Pindad and FNSS, no guarantee TNI will purchase it yet.

FNSS said it is being made for Indonesian Army and will be delivered in 2026, likely for testing & evaluation.
What is strange that both FNSS and Pindad (with FNSS asistance) will make the hull, the agreement now covers a more broaden ToT likely in preparation of MT production in Indonesia.

SSE should test P8 Light tank soon, and expect show it @ IDEF 2024 to get order from TNI before Harimau/Kaplan APC born

I like if Pindad have competitor from private company, so their product will improve and better quality. next Republikorps will come to join the competition
