No lah, i am already said so many times before, they want to build tactical balistic Missiles or the likes of SRBM in class of FROG, Scud and something like that. Their aim is a system to fit for all , be able to fit into universal launcher system like Astros system or the likes but with our own version.

Jokowi right now doesn't seem giving much support into military research and development, but not with his MoD, Prabowo, actually.

IMO the military research budget in 2021 defense budget is still quite small, it will be very encouraging if we can have at least 5 % of our defense budget for military research purposes. It is now under discussion and they are thinking to make a law to enforce the implementation. If I am not mistaken Singapore has such law for 4 % defense budget for R&D.

This 5 % of 10 billion USD (2021 defense budget) which is 500 million USD per year is quite huge. This is why as you said in other thread there is thinking to make a body like ADD in South Korea. I really support the idea. There should be a special body for it so that non military people with high capability can join and possible better control of the fund with more transparency. This is also good to better manage any defense program that requires many parties/agencies involvement.

For the mean time, large portion of the budget could be used for KFX/IFX program, although KFX/IFX program can also get financed from other government budget and possibly from some kind of financial scheme.

For the time being Indonesia should focused on three items first, metalurgi technology to apply it to Made decent indigenous canon and large caliber gun (various type from 76 mm Naval gun, tank gun, 30 or 35 mm Rapid gun, heavy mortar, artillery like 105 and 155 mm caliber) this very important for obvious reason. Second Radar technology, for obvious reason. Third Missiles system and technology, including ATGM, AShM, SAM, smart guided munition like MAM L or Hellfire and among other. Without those core elements of modern military technology we are fucked.

After that Indonesia can move on or working alongside for engine technology for military application like Turboprop and turboshaft engines, Naval engine and other stuff.

Could you please inform us about research studies for semi-conductors in Indonesia? A few years ago, Turkey had started an initiative to form a cooperation between states like Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan to jointly invest on chip technologies. Turkey is primarily planning to invest on Malaysian Sirterra institute for the production of first Turkish micro-processors called Çakıl but at the same time Turkey is going to own path by investing for own semi-conductor manufacturing facility in Turkey. Most likely Turkey wants to form a JV between willing Muslim majority states and produce the strategic chips in same facility. With this way, The requirement will be huge and the investments will redeem itself in shorter period.

NONE that I'm aware of. Even IF there is one, it's a small scale and extremely unlikely to be complex enough to require modern industrial scale lithography. Indonesia simply have ZERO expertise in the semiconductor field, not to mention completely lack the industrial capacity for it (unless you count smartcard as one)

Let me guess Erdogan regime is seriously worried that US would raise embargo on chipset design software and lithography machineries & tools?

What does it have to do anything with any religion?! If its about religion why not go investing in Saudi Arabia?! Nobody in real world investing anything on the basis of any religion.

We dont know about current development but there is ITB microelectronics, they do research and development on that area.

ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) is the best STEM university in Indonesia. You can contact the number there if you want to know more or asking for cooperation. There is some interesting story as well there, you can use google translate.

The professor there is also making a design house chip company. The company name is PT. Xirka Silicon Technology. Here is the owner. He is a professor in ITB

My cousin said chip design can be done personally but in order to be efficient the production should be really massive. He said to me for few production we can use FPGA.

A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing – hence the term "field-programmable".

What is the fuss? Calm down :)
Chipsets are the easiest thing to reach even North Korea or Embargoed Iran had a reach and nobody could stop them.
Having your own chipsets for critical applications, controllers, weapons are not wrong. Chinese has known to install crazy backdoors and kill switches, or spy switches on them.
WTF it has anything to do with any religion?! If its about religion why not go investing in Saudi Arabia?! Nobody in real world investing anything on the basis of any religion.
Oh, so your officals never use that "muslim brother" term in meetings? Calm down mate.

I think design is the most important one as for the production even Chinese buy the machine from Japan.

You know Turkey took a long way in some specific fields and came to the current tech level. After this period What we are going to head for will be more advanced sub-component technologies to keep key datas in home. This is a must If a country wants to develop own unique technologies. That’s the reason Turkey is giving special interests to this field of technology and so It is aimed to not only designing but also producing these chips domestically. What I have understood from the planned roadway is Turkish officials want to encourage other Muslim majority states to co-invest on same manufacturing facility. Besides, The course Turkey is following looks very similar to what Israel achieved in previous years. CMOS, SiGe, BICMOS, MEMS and GaN are the key areas Turkey is advancing at present And all end products will be manufactured thanks to these technologies. I hope we will find a ground to cooperate because It was voiced in serious conferences by top officials. We will wait and see. Thanks for your response.

what fusss you were referring here? I believe either there is linguistic barrier or reading comprehension between us

You know what chipset, fake news, and fake boobs, fake ass have in common? They all silicone based

aach you finally revealed your true colour there. You try to push ideological narrative by relating 2 subjects different subject into ideological frame. In Indonesia, we called that "cucoklogi"

Anyway don't bother continuing this interaction alright, because I put everyone whose pushing ideological narrative in my ignore list. And besides I extremely doubt I could get any new practical technical / engineering information out of you
Allright.

Lapan Sukses Terbangkan Uji Coba Roket RX450-5

Mari kita terus dukung upaya memajukan teknologi roket Indonesia

I hope, it is not officially called "reverse engineering of missiles", isn't it?
There is a very thin line between inspiration, hot start and reverse engineering in design similar to the line between quotation-inspiration and plagiarism.

Don't know exact detail here but they are put PT LEN to develop guidance system and other stuff. I recall some of them get trained by Kongsberg over guidance system of Missiles technology.
