True and that is why TAI's Temil Kotil himself said that they are targeting engineers from even a young age, especially those who are at their first year of universities. Moreover, Techno Fest exists for a reason; i-e, to propel young minds to start working to develop such projects.

BTW, according to Temil Kotil, most of the engineers involved in TAI and Hurjet are actually the young new generation

And to stop the brain drain, you need infrastructure and Stable economy; I know that the economy's inflation is skyrocketing due to low interest rates but Turkey also needs infrastructure and such is only built by those who are EXTREMELY PATRIOTIC only even if they are a bit denser than other Turkish engineers who leave the country.

I was always thought that Rome wasnt built in a day; some sacrificies and blood is necessary to pave the way for future generations

Yes, some engineers are brighter than TAI's current engineers but refused to stay and invest in their country due to inflation etc; however, if such engineers cant even risk their lives for their country, how do you expect them to stay during events such as war etc? How do you expect them to pave the way of the future generations by acting as role models when they escaped the country due to inflation alone?

When Ataturk took command of the remaining Turkish army, after the Ottoman collapse and defeat, Turkey was just a small land but he strived and spilled blood to restore the Turkish glory and make a state where Turkish citizens can live with dignity. He could have just escaped and went to any other nation and offer his services for their armies but he didnt and took the hard path


I respect each and every Turkish engineer who, despite the current economic conditions, remained in Turkey to build the path through which the future generations can use to defend themselves. Yes they may be denser than others who escaped in terms of talent or intelligence but for sure their hearts are weaker to NONE!

That’s simply bull. Young engineers, and when they have enough experience and usd/euro comes knocking with better work terms like 7-8h a day and 6-7 weeks vacation with annual salary climbing near or above 100k usd. Only a fool would say no.

Don’t waste your breath we’ve already talked this over once before and many others have given examples on the reason for the brain drain. The only question worth answering is whether it’s a sustainable strategy or not.

I still dont understand why ppl dont believe Temil Kotil

He himself stated that most of the project of stuff like TFX was made by young engineers; according to him, TFX cockpit was mostly designed by young engineers

If what you are saying was the definitive truth, then Turkey wouldnt even had the personnel to complete even half of the current ongoing projects

Iam not saying that you are wrong; but surely both me and you know less than the guy, Mr. Temil Kotil, who actually works in the field and knows what is going on. Therefore, when he says he is investing in young engineers and that most of the current projects are having massive contributions from such ppl then we gotta give the guy at least some credibility. We already saw the TFX cockpit and it was beautiful

0.25µ is good enough for sensors but we need processing power made at home. Still good news that they are opening up to developers.

"Turkey wants to get involved in this business (Chip production). I think we should. Because the mill does not turn with continuous transport water. There are many different levels of this. Even if you do not run all levels, you need to run some levels. The future will become more technological and digitalized. Of course, this chip will be needed in every field that will be digitalized. The demand for this will increase. "

"In this sense, we as Turkey, want to be a productive power. Our most important need is water. Water is used a lot in the chip production. Water is needed for the chip to be used. We have preparations for this."

Correct! The chip production starts with “Silicon Wafers”.
It is the crucial component as you rightfully point out. It is the Initial and major building block of a micro-chip.

When the season is dry and water is scarce it hinders chip production. And yes the silices of silicon are called wafers and you can't make chips without them.

Probably water from Kızılırmak will be used at the chip factory.

To create an integrated circuit on a 30cm wafer, can require approximately 8,33 of water.

Water is used for the purpose of rinsing wafers.

We are combining the forces of these two distinguished institutions, bringing together their knowledge and experience. Hopefully, Turkey will produce the strategically qualified new generation alloys it needs locally and nationally in a short time"
