Akp and its media have learnt the worst lessons from this shit; zionists have their deep tentacles in the crevices of the finance world, organized crime, media, hollywood, social media apps, tech supergiants, rating agencies, U.S. military industrial complex, and the political elite of the western world.
The lesson you learn from this is "avoid direct altercation with Israel at all costs, esp. a war of words", not "make them believe we're a threat to them when we're not". Again the populist motivation to consolidate their base around security concerns has superseded astute strategic long-term thinking, harming the country for no reason except for keeping core Akp voters due to perceived security concerns.
Unfortunately the political immaturity of the populace (be it opposition or otherwise) pushes politics into confrontation with this entity as that's a popular position to take. Even with a change of admin, they probably would be too afraid of the populace to follow a more rational path forward, which would be appeasing zionists for now and using the opportunity to strengthen the country against such threats if they materialize, using western help while doing it.
There's a reason even China and Russia don't engage them the way overconfident and cocky Iranians did. Learn a fucking lesson from China at least.
