Whatever he was tnis is state sponsored terrorism, i do not support that as Iran will have full right to retaliate amd continue emdless cycle of confrotation. Your country is main reason why Iran goes towards nuclear weapon at first place, think about it.

My country? If you think I am an Israeli I will disappoint you. Iran and Israel are in an open conflict not from yesterday. This is not terrorism. This is called preemptive measure. This is not a civilian but a legit military target on senior position within the security forces of a country which is threatening Israeli national security every other day with words like "we will delete you from the face of the world". If I should talk about State sponsored terrorism I would use better examples like usage of brute force against Palestinian civilians, organizing militant groups all around the world including the EU with the aim of neutralizing of Iranian opposition figures and Hamas indiscriminately bombing civilian settlements inside Israel. This is an objective look at the story. If Iran had the capability it would dare to do the same to Israel but they just can't.

From a Turkish point of view I would not like stronger Iran. I would like to keep stability and not Iran with a nuclear bomb next to my door threatening also nuclear countries with annihilation day and night like it's nothing, sending militias that are fighting against my soldiers, doing an open political and military espionage in Turkey and sponsoring terrorism all around the ME including in areas where Turkey have interests which are on the opposite side. Behind all that is the IRGC and I don't really mind seeing somebody cutting their wings on my place. This does not mean I don't respect them in any way. The determination and fearlessness is a good thing but one should know where his possibilities can get him.

There is a thin line between bravery and stupidity and Iran is crossing into stupidity with every single day. The expansionist politics of Iran and the radical ideas of IRGC got them to that position where their "brightest" figures are being killed all around without achieving nothing significant. Such people are not educated and trained for two weeks and voala here you got the new Suleymani. All what IRGC is doing is miscalculating things. Nor the US will leave the Middle East or Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and Israel will be in rubbles any time soon. In the end of the day it is Iran who will pay the price with so many enemies. If the Iranian governing officials are okay with Iranian citizens (sons and daughters of people who founded multiple empires, influenced whole civilizations) to live on bread and onions on the mercy of foreign powers then good. They are free to continue on the same path.

I wouldn't be surprised if IRGC has done it, or supported this by intention too.

-Win-win, tighten the hate against Israel and gain support of nation against them

-Clean a leader-figure on a project, whom would gain the credit upon successful trials, probably signs that project has matured enough and nears to first trial, he is not needed beyond this point.

-Take the credit from a figure, who will possibly be against some development at some stage, to IRGC or to religious leader.

Iran used its ballistic missiles against Yemen.
Iran used its ballistic missiles against Syria.
Iran used its ballistic missiles against Saudi Arabia.

Iran did not use its ballistic missile against Israel.

Aleppo quarter wiped out by Iranian ballistic missile. Speaking about state sponsored terrorism:

More than 100 civilians were killed in this bombing. And now I should be sad about the death of one IRGC general who supervised these missiles development?

You claim that Israel is main reason Iran goes nuclear. But how u explain the fact that Iran fired ballistic missiles against Arab countries but never against Israel?

The reason Iran is in Syria is same why it is in Iraq or Yemen: they want to export their Shia revolution all over and openly declared these intentions.

Currently Iran controls 4 Arab capitals (Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut, Sana) and wants to expand more, Israel does not control any and does not have any expansion intentions. Past decades Israel is only ceding territories for peace.

Partially agree about that sect part, it is indeed strange approach to declare israel as enemy number one amd yet you do evereything that actually israel makes more comfortable, i admit that strategy is beyond my comprehension but they revovle all their foreign policy around israel, is it some grand strategy or some dubious conspiration theory about israel iran alliance it remains to be seen.

Does Iran has competent counter inteligence agency at all or they are to busy to stalk their own citizens about ordinary things while their top scieNtists got assasinated?
No they just have martyrdom culture so they don’t care much about being killed in the beginning of the revolution many high ranking Iranian officials were killed include assassination attempt on Khamenei and the assassination of the president and his prime minister and dozens of senior officials like behsheti and motahari plus many Iranian generals died in battle field and assassinated like chamran and Ali shirazi and kamal kharazi and dozen others

Last I heard Iran was saying its a satellite-linked remote operated gun or something.

The initial story was it was a hit team on motorbikes I think that surrounded the car and shot it up.

Where is this going? Its all so weird.
