China is outbuilding and will outbuild the US. That is a fact. The US shipbuilding industry is not competitive anymore. You can probably build 3x more in China per dollar. American price tags and costs are insane. Things will be much harder for the US by the end of this decade especially when Chinese GDP overtakes the US GDP.
