Assad is a dictator that should have stepped down. His family dynasty has only ever supported the enemies of Turkey. Under Iranian guidance, the people who will even support armenians against shia Azeri people, he has focussed most of his energies in killing sunni muslims leading to over 10 million Muslims fleeing that land. What has happened to them is worse then what has happened to the Palestinians. As for the Palastianians they also have a filthy hand in supporting pkk terrorists against Turkey. E

This love for shia dictators is mind boggling, the same dictator that even helped haftar or the greeks against Turkey.

Anyway back to the topic. When the militaries were strong and the various Arab nations had access to modern soviet weaponry and Isreal was finding it hard to buy weapons, having to find back doors while also fighting an internal war against the arabs, they were able to crush multiple arab armies at the same time.

Today these arab nations are a shadow of what they were, assad turned his nation into a protectorate of russia while one half is ruled by America. Egypt is a joke state, iraq is finished and the gulf states are traitors to the faith, people and religion. Meanwhile Isreals technological advantage reached such a point she "on paper" surpasses everyone regionally including Turkey. Not to mention her political influence across the powerful states on earth has only increased and gotten deeper.

So by all means bet the house on a rag tag shia army that couldnt defeat a rebel uprising, go for it. But you will end up shocked and humilated again for it.

I think you are wrong. Turkey will kick their arse those darn Zionists whatever technologies they might have.

Answer: IDF is so cowardly it doesn't need a real army to defeat it. Hamas and Hizbollah alone will destroy it.
one question, why hasn't they finished doing so ?

I don't like what Hizbollah did in Syria but I swear to god the next war they will clap the shit of the IDF, Hizbollah now has the best and the most experienced troops not mentioning their new rockets capabilities.

I wouldn't be sure about that, as Israel is an air power, its army is defensive. The Syrian army is much more experienced at this point than the Israel army. So Israel could win some battles/territory, but it wouldn't roll them at this point. I could argue that the Syrian army at this point is the best it has been ever because of its experience.

Lets get real IDF would absolutely destroy the Syrian Army.

IDF is one of the best trained militaries in the world. Up to NATO standards and a huge reserve pool to back itself up on multiple fronts.

The training IDF goes through is leagues ahead of any so called 'experience' the Syrian Army has which is stuck in linear 1950s warfare.

There is a myth that the IDF are a paper tiger due to the war in 2006.

But people seem forget that the only reason IDF pulled out was because Hezbollah rockets were raining down civilian areas like Haifa and they could not really stop that and tanks were sitting ducks.

They reached the Litani river and could have went even further. However Tanks issue and rocket fire on civilian areas was a problem.

Nowadays IDF has the Iron dome, better AD systems overall and Trophy APS to protect their assets abd civilian areas

Not only that but drones to target and attack Rocket sites in real time, better intelligence and rapid advances in key areas to sorround opponent and limit supplies.

Not really.

With strong up to date intelligence they could utilize a massive wave of strikes involving fighter jets, drones, loitering munitions and attack drones to destroy a signifigant percentage of Hezbollah rocket launchers and rocket Arsenal within 72 hours of the first strike.

After that Iron Dome and other AD systems should be able to handle the rest of Hezbollahs rockets.

Regarding a ground op I envisage Isreal doing a much similar operation to what Azerbaijan did in the Southern front of the Karabakh war in 2020. With drones used to hunt for Hezbollah ATGM positions.

However IDF has further advantage if absolute Air Supremacy and trophy APS to protect its tanks.

Signifigant numbers of Lebenease Christians, Sunnis & even Palestinians hate Hezbollah.

Gathering accurate real time intelligence on them vis a vis their rocket arsenal and not being bogged down in a war of attrition and coin operations like in previous conflicts should not be a problem.

Hezbollah VS Isreal is completely different from the Azerbaijan war, Hezbollah VS Israel would be like the Afganistan war add to that Hezbollah is more capable than Taliban.

There are so many IDF/lovers in this thread it is hard to believe.

Israel's military doctrine assumes periodic 'wars between the wars' in its confrontation with Hezbollah and Hamas. But it's failing: with each round of fighting, Israel's strategic position erodes even further.

The latest round of escalation between Israel and Hamas is a military strategy that is greatly limited in shaping an endurable reality for Israel.

This all means that the IDF that many here are so impressed with and almost worship, this IDF is not invincible, and despite its hardware, it will sooner or later fall in the hole.

As for all the Syrian haters, Syria as a nation is here to stay way after Israel becomes a thing of the past.

With all due respect the Taliban is a much better fighting force than the so-called Syrian Arab Army
You seem quite excited in regard to Syria.
Tell us what is your plan for Syria. Who should rule it, which army should protect it, the whole plan.

Interesting to see Europeans like yourself having agendas for Mideast countries they understand very little about.

No matter how powerful Israel’s military becomes, it still can’t win. The conflict with Palestinians is a constant threat that even the most advanced weaponry can’t win.

Where did you get this theory ? Quite laughable analysis indeed.
Many Jews left Algeria to join Israel , yet we don't recognize the existence of Israel to this day. We call it the Zionist entity.

Assad is a dictator, but show me one Arab head of state who is not a dictator.

I am not as impressed with Israel as you seem to be.
Israel's success and blind arrogance will lead to its failure.
These Arabs that every one today is looking down to, are the owners of the land.
The Israelis the overwhelming majority of them are Europeans and have no roots in the Middle East.

An opinion of a Sunni.

Opinions don't win wars.

What's the root of this excitement you have for Israel. Many of you here are supporting IDF/Israel against Muslim countries such as Syria.

What comes around goes around. Israel one day will cease to exist, while Syria is here where it belongs, just like it has been for thousands of years.

Syria is a majority muslim country, not a muslim country. Learn the difference

and the one's sitting now in Damascus is the biggest killers of those muslims.

IDF is way more moral than the Assad henchmen

Answer: You are endorsing the IDF and Israel. Your are entitled to your hilarious views on Syria, but you are an outsider to the region, so why don't you comment about your own country instead..

What do you feel about China bombing Indonesia and turning it into rubble tomorrow ?
