This cost will get passed to the consumer.

Countries that rely a lot on maritime transport for imports suffer inflation. This won't just impact the west, but also TR.

There is always an option not to do anything. The poor people should think about the inflation in Germany and in return get a bit of bone. Or maybe there is an option, not to f with everyone and it wouldn't come to such situations. Maybe Israel should pay or USA out of the package for Israel for these thing.
When it comes to Libya or Syria and also for the benefits of PKK, suddenly the influx of millions of the refugees doesn't really matter for the inflation or any " hardships ".

The idea is not even to sink/damage cargo ships, but to make the danger so high that shipping companies were forced to take the "safe" option to turn around and sail along the Horn of Africa (which is treacherous for Shipping).
