Ask the Palestinians about that first

They don't really have much of a say in Gaza because they are ruled by a terrorist organization that just committed an atrocity. There is very little sympathy for them even from the usual channels.

Or should Erdogan ask people in Syria before he bombs the YPG ?

I dont see the Kurds in Turkiye living in blockade or open prisons.

Difference between Turkiye and Israel. Turkiye targets Terrorists while Israel shoots at anything that moves.

Because of Hamas, Israel is going to punish a whole city.

Now imagine the Russians doing the same thing I forgot they did it in Grozny, Syria and Georgia once they began doing it on Europe's doorstep is when Russia became the bad guy.

@Gary man your comments have always been an eye opener.

A noteworthy aspect of seeing this happening today is that it has provided a comprehensive insight into how the Western world values Arab, Middle-Eastern and Muslim lives...absolutely ZERO.

The Arab/Muslim world has long been aware of the Western world's unequivocal support for Israel's apartheid policy and genocidal tendency but has struggled to provide concrete evidence. Now, with statements from figures like Netanyahu encouraging actions that amount to genocide, and with the backing of individuals of people's with authority like Blinken and Von Der Leyen, down to the common Western social media users calling for violence on Twitter, the Muslim world may gradually recognize the looming threat and potentially relinquish the moral principles imposed on them. Revenge may become a prominent rallying point for generations to come. And I hope so.

This will be to the advantage of whoever rules the Middle East in the long run when the trend of power shifts back to their side and the Western world eventually declines and Israel is left to fend off for themselves. They will not find the kind of new Saladin (s) at their doorstep, rather they will find themselves in the sea of new Tamerlane (s).

So I'm expecting more heartbreaking pictures coming out from Gaza, the image of innocent women and children laying as corpses or even lifeless children pulled out of pancaked buildings will reverberate in the psyche of the Arab/Muslim world for generations to come.

Hate could be a useful tool for the advancement of geopolitical ambitions, and it could be nurtured, deliberately cultivated. This is one event I could think of to do just that other than maybe the invasion of Iraq.

The two-headed Palestinian administration, with Hamas in Gaza and Mahmoud Abbas in East Jerusalem, is being eliminated.

Gaza administration will pass under the administration of Mahmoud Abbas. There will be a single Palestinian administration.

All extremists are in Gaza, now they will be cleared. Saudi Arabia was going to make peace with Israel, but this was put on hold after Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel. Hamas did this because it was left derelict.
Gulf Arabs no longer support fanatics. In fact, their real desire is to get rid of the fanatics who are so easily manipulated by Iran. They will completely remove Iran from Palestine and start a new era in Palestine.

After that, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries will begin peace agreements with Israel. Gazans and radical Palestinians do not like Mahmoud Abbas at all, they accuse him of being a toy of the West.

The USA wants a government like Mahmoud Abbas to rule all of Palestine. This is the sole purpose of this war we are seeing.
Hamas and Iran created chaos because they realized that they were being eliminated, but the result was in vain.

Goodbye terrorist Hamas and Iran!!!
Welcome monocentric Palestine. Maybe after this war and when Hamas disappears, the Palestinian state could be recognized by the United Nations.

Seems you forgot what it looks like when a terrorist organization is in a city, the trench wars that happened to us with the PKK. Or maybe you support the terrorist organization. During this time a half a million were told to leave the cities so casualties could be minimised. Israel is doing the same.

Urban warfare is going to be extremely destructive.

We tried to evacuate all civilans beforehand.
We didn't bomb everything to rubble with our fighter jets.
We sent in special forces, soldiers and police to minimize destruction and civilian casualties.

The equivalent of what Israel is doing right now would have been to bomb the whole city of Diyarbakir because of some PKK presence.

I am pretty sure, it is gonna be a hell of a fight.

Not to mention, they have much better training, organisation and C2 than ISIS.
This very operation was a demonstration of their capabilities.
I don't know what will come out of it . But , it only emboldened the radicals rallying calls . So , expect a new wave of fanatics upon our rank ...soon

not quite. I'm in Indonesia thousands of kms away and the talk about Bashar Al-Assad as this evil dictator is still the norm, not as massive as when it's in 2012, but its expected.

Back when the Crusaders captured Jerusalem during the first crusade, they killed so many civilians that they rode their horses in a pool of blood, this story still carries the same weight when narrated in 2023 as it was during the times when Saladin was preparing its troops to reconquer Jerusalem.

Whats interesting for decades Israel actually tried in many ways reach out to the wider Muslim world rather than the Arab World.

They wanted to show their war was not against Muslims but only the Arabs and Palestinians.

Now with the holy city of Jerusalem under their rule and constant harassment of Muslim worshippers to Aqsa.

Only thing Israel has managed to do is piss off the entire Muslim World regardless if they are Turks, African, Bosniak, Chechens, Tatars, Amazighs/Berbers you name it.

Its no longer becoming an Arab vs Israeli issue or a Palestinian vs Israeli issue.

Its become global.

The end result was the same though, many buildings were destroyed. So what does it matter? Also, in that time, the PKK didn't kill a thousand in one day. It would be the same if it did, bombed to rubble.

Also Israelis lost 1000 in one attack, of course they would react like this. Hamas is much more entrenched and stronger than the PKK was in Gaza. Israelis will continue a bombing campaign until it is safer for ground forces, tanks to enter.

I would say that haught and arrogance have finally consume them, back in the day Israeli leaders knew they're vulnerable even with the backing of the West behind them.

This is why back in 1991, when Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein fired their scuds into Tel Aviv, Israel didn't retaliate back at Iraq, they don't want their attack to trigger a pan-Arab sympathy and divert attention back to them.

Things started to change somewhere in the 2000s until now. The waning of Pan-Arabism, the general failure of the Arab Spring, the fall of Muslim Brotherhood party in Egypt as well as the improvements made in relationships with key Arab states like UAE and before this event, the Saudis.

So now you see them come in full force, basically declaring "We are going to do what we're gonna do, and we will have no consequence" so do they think.

Of course, as we all know, there's nothing positive comes out from haught and arrogance as it blinds people, but I prefer the Israeli thinks that way.

Their vulnerability will stay, but their backers...will not.

"always ... Throughout history"
Like here:

Let's say European countries condemn Israel an we support muslim powers unconditionally and as a thank you we have a repeat of that by I don't know what muslim country, terrorist organization or whoever. This time no-one knows exactly how many millions muslims are in Europe already, if they are terrorists hiding or not, they "lose" their papers before they come in Europe. How many people and how many times have said they don't agree exactly with Israel behaving like Hamas, but we have other things to consider too. There aren't millions of Christians migrating to muslim countries, it is the other way around. And in European cities in some areas they have the sharia low already.
