Food for thought

"Admiral Anthony Radakin, the current Chief of the General Staff, issued a statement praising what he called the "combat power" of the American F-35 fighter jet.
He noted that in late October, the Israeli Air Force carried out an operation in which its F-35s carried out a massive raid on Iranian military installations, destroying most of the MoD assets, as well as missile production facilities
"Israel used more than 100 aircraft, carrying less than 100 munitions, and not a single fighter came closer than 160 km to the target. This destroyed almost all of Iran's air defenses."
According to him, as a result of just one large-scale F-35 sortie, it was possible to deprive Tehran of the ability to produce ballistic missiles for a year."

Recently (after this attack), information emerged about Tehran's intention to decommission all air defense elements (including the S-300) acquired from Russia

The only democracy in the region has banned the Muslim call for prayer (Ezan)!
I can imagine some dipshits in Türkiye agreeing with that.

Pretty impressive, Iskander. I don't even like the 35, but it's alway amusing seeing real grade-A militaries absolutely humiliate the theocracies & death-cultists with their 1970s kit. Nice goin', Iran, reap the whirlwind.

Theocracies, religio-supremacist states, who is keeping count in the clown show that is the middle east. For every mocking finger an Israeli/Zionist points towards the other jokes in the region, there are four pointing back.

Reality? Israel's right and their enemies in the neighborhood are wrong?

More like everyone in neighborhood is wrong. Including Israel. No continuesly expanding settler state at the expense of someone is ever right.

I don't support the settlements. It doesn't negate the big picture that Israel as a state should be where it is, per the U.N., and anyone waving an AK about saying otherwise is the one opposing international law and needs to be militarily dealt with.

Actually they would have. If we consider even 20 aircraft were used for bombing from far off, which they did they need the rest for air cover and buddy refueling over iraq. Then there are SAR and SEAD roles to consider.

That would be needed if the other side had an air defence and fighter jets of the same tier.
But lets just say that we agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Yeah, the 100 aircraft bit had me raising an eyebrow too, at least reading it as 100 F-35s (would the U.S. even have 100 in-service 35s? I guess maybe, but I would have guessed the IDF has maybe like 25-30 total).

I guess if you read it more as 100 planes in general support aircraft/recon/unmanned backup or whatever included though, it could add up.

Either way, Iran got kneecapped to a significant extent, and I guess end of the day that's the important part. Missile production's fucked and their entire foreign Axis (bar the Houthis I guess, but nobody takes them seriously or will at any point in future) dismantled? 2024's been the tits!

Combined, the United States Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps has approximately 450 combined F-35 A/B/C in service... They have also have at least a further 300 units on order and are planning more than 2500 units between the 3 services.

Yeah, interesting, they're further along with the rollout than I figured. Time flies I guess. Was probably conflating it with the 22 personally, according to the Googz there's 186 of those fielded by the U.S.

Anyway, *Scott Summers mode engage* (the poster, not the cool X-Man guy who stands for the exact opposite of what the poster does in all aspects):

E-yuuup, Iran's fucked.

And good work Hamas, your well-laid plans have landed a boot up your well-laid ass. Derpa derpa derpa derp.
