That would be insanely stupid and would give warhawks in the US all the ammo they need to declare Iran a serious threat to American interests and rile up public support. It's the opposite of having brains. Targeting Israel and avoiding seriously targeting the US gives Iran some leeway in claiming self-defense.

I highly doubt that. There's no American interest to wage a war against Iran that would grant public support for it. The idea was already very unpopular to begin with. If Iran can prove that attacking their country will cost you an arm and a leg then what argument would the warhawks use to sell the public on it? It's not like Iran is encircling the US so you could come up with self-defense arguments. It's a losing proposition for all accounts.

And it's not even just about today. If the US can get away with attacking the Iran today, they will do that again and again in the future. Iran has to pay the price today to save themselves the headache in the future. If they could, they should sink US ships and annihilate US bases. Iran has limited number of missiles and they shouldn't waste them on Israel. It's not like the US will land troops and fight the Iraninan soldiers. There cannot be another Iraq for the US. They cannot afford it.

If Iran has any brains it would use all its stockpile of missiles against the US targets and not waste them against Israel. They need to kill as many American soldier as possible to cause unrest in the US and hope that the government will yield to public pressure and withdraw from the region. Otherwise, Israel will make sure the US bombs Iran every few years.

USA dominates the global media networks. Even if Iran took out a million US troops their media could portray it as a handful being killed. I honestly think everything should be sent to Isreal. If Isreal buckles the USA will buckle. Unline the Americans, Isrealis can't handle causalities.

While all of this is happening the irans should do whatever they can to put the message out their that isreal as much an enemy to iran as it is to the USA.

But truth be told they will send just enough missiles hoping they can come back to "discussions". I also suspect we will see no rhyme nor reason to the iranian missile assualt. It will be a missile here, a missile there but no real strategy. Like they won't focus on destroying isreali air defences and then their air bases. It will be another dumb iranian show.

Iran should be a lesson to Turks as to what happens when your nations turns into a theocratic shithole.

The MAGA movement is anti Jewish lobby but they dont have much power yet,this will change in the future.
Many people in the US are fed up with Israel but the politicians(payroll) are still in a majority favoring Israel.
