Sorry, but rogue elements in Iran with enough access could do it. Also I would not rule out that Israel and others has moles in Iran and possible high enough in the hierarchy to pull it off.

I'd keep my guard up and deploy AD systems and other systems to try catch any additional launches.

It's quite pathetic how our government doesn't have AD systems in place and rely on NATO.

In his press conference Trump answers that this will be over "very soon" in response to a question. I can see that the US may soon have more or less destroyed Iran's defensive capability. I don't see Iran's offensive capability through drones being destroyed. When the US declares that the war is over I fear it may be over as far as the US is concerned but not as far as the regime and IRGC are concerned.

That is same as Russia-Ukriane, if Russia say they had destroyed the Ukriane millitary capability, what would you think? Even there has been 4 years from the beginning of the war.
If US decided to end their 'special military operation', I would not feel surperise, that is a clever action, the more clever things is not to make it happen.

Footage shows Iranian air defenses of unknown types striking Israeli Hermes-900 heavy UAVs near Tehran and an American MQ-9 Reaper UAV over Bushehr. Other shots of these drones being shot down in Iran are also shown. To date, 11 American MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance and attack UAVs have been lost, according to CBS News, citing two US officials. Experts estimate the cost of each MQ-9 Reaper UAV to be approximately $30 million.

Given the general carelessness I observed in Iran during peacetime, anything is possible. Otherwise, how could enemy agents, in groups of two or three, assassinate ten high-ranking generals right in their beds in just 10 minutes, aiming Spike anti-tank missiles directly at their bedroom windows or at ballistic missile launchers?
I know the Iranians a little, so I think anything is possible.

One can be of course against US-Israel attacks against Iran, but the way some people act, going as far as to deny their own ministries, is amazing to me. This is done even on television.

Good job being unpaid propagandists of Iran.

This is the same Iran and IRGC that commited a genocide against Syrian civilians. And all the while hiding behind the guise of Shia Islam. Did Imam Husayn ibn Ali gave these charlatans the right to use his name while massacring Arab civilians? Is it not in fact a sin? How can you look at Hasan ibn Ali, and say that these charlatans represent him? And some brain dead people in Turkey even support them acquiring nuclear capability.

There is a fraction in Iran who hates the Mullahs to the bones. They want to rather see Iran burning than in the hands of Mullahs. These fraction could try to drag Türkiye in to the war. Maybe.

Their transgressions are not in doubt, but I think from a strategic point of view it is valuable to have a stable and sturdy Iran.

If Iran were to fall the next in line would be Turkey, and Pakistan. We need to make sure that sequence is frozen, and keep in mind that the Jews will never rest in the pursuit of Greater Israel.

They have assumed the mantle of being Israel's primary antagonist, and we should value the breathing space that generates.

A "stable and sturdy" Iran tried imperialism cosplay and even supplied weapons to Pkk. You do realize they have blood of Turkish soldiers on their hands?

Or perhaps you would have preferred Irgc on your southern border?

Edit: You are Pakistani, nvm. I think Pakistanis are simply unable to see the situation for what it is, apart from the "Ummah brotherhood" perspective, which makes no sense because Iran was never and did never try to be a part of Ummah. Unless you think massacre of Syrian civilians was one such thing.

A "stable and sturdy" Iran tried to play imperialism and even supplied weapons to Pkk. You do realize they have blood of Turkish soldiers on their hands?

Now Iran’s imperialism plans crumbled because Israel decided to act. Would you have preferred Irgc on your southern border?

Edit: You are Pakistani, nvm. I think Pakistanis are simply unable to see the situation for what it is, apart from some sort of "Ummah brotherhood", which makes no sense because Iran was never and did never try to be a part of Ummah. Unless you think massacre of Syrian civilians was one such thing.
No I follow the topics of the region closely. I am aware of what you speak. Better not to make presumptions.

Iran is obviously deeply sectarian (perhaps even ethno-supremacist in an inconspicuous manner) and it pursues a politics of that nature, which consequently impedes it from being able to have the same friendliness as other surrounding countries, or to take it even closer to the truth, which inspires it to actively pursue hostile policies and actions,. However, what exactly is your perspective of Israel's agenda in the region conversely? And (assuming you are not in denial of the obvious in regards to Israel) who do you think is more capable of actually realizing their agenda?

On the one hand we have a country which does not even possess a basically functional military, and on the other hand we have a country that has a superpower at its beck and call, the international economic system at its beck and call, nuclear weapons, advanced hardware, sophisticated intelligence, and has already successfully topped numerous states in the region. I welcome you to argue your case as to it being an inferior threat according to realistic considerations.
