Iran showed footage of the launch and flights of Karrar reconnaissance and strike UAVs. The Karrar drone was developed in 2009 and has since been modernized several times. The Karrar UAV belongs to the class of reconnaissance and strike drones with a turbojet engine. The Karrar drone was allegedly developed based on the American unmanned target Beechcraft MQM-107 Streaker. The drone has a variety of weapons, from Mark 82 missiles and bombs, to six-barreled 7.62 caliber machine guns. The drone has also developed Majid air-to-air missiles with a range of eight kilometers and Nasr-1 and Kowsar anti-ship missiles. In addition, the UAV can also be used as a kamikaze drone, and radar reconnaissance equipment can also be installed on it. The drone can fly at speeds of up to 900 km/h over a range of up to 1000 km, at a flight altitude of up to 9000 meters.
