Is it really hard to ask for a immersive shooter im not asking for full blown realism.

They should give an option to turn this shit off.

You have a team full of soldiers there is that 1 or 2 guys dressed as clowns with pink guns 🤮

Is it not smart to have a combination of Akkor and KAMA protection? Just thinking loud like two layers of protection, if Akkor misses KAMA can still maybe safe you

Unfortunately, ours is not a rich army.

It is not set as a requirement by the land forces. If land forces want it, it is very easy to do so.

Anyway, I don't like Serdar. I don't like coaxial EO. It limits the capability of the weapon system.

Could have had Altay and Tulpar for a while in inventory now, maybe after 2023, who knows, there is still hope.
Hopefully, production will begin with the Korean powerpack either in late 2023 or in 2024

By now, I think Turkey should start to slowly diverge away from German products tbh; how they treated Turkey after the Syria operation and how they treated Ukraine in the current war along with how they are giving favouritism to Greece just explains how much the Germans are a burden to NATO in general and a non-supporter of Turkey in the future

Just look at what their media is saying about TSK, Turkish defence industry, and how cruel the turks are for standing up against the PKK; honestly, all what is left if for them to claim that Turkey has no right whatsoever in the East Med

A factory in such a shit patch of land has corruption written all over it.

If Tosyali has balls he would go do BMC a big ass purge.

Afaik, Tosyali did do a lot of changes within the structure of BMC in general. He also started to cut on unnecessary costs like the new factory etc..

There are rumors that the R&D center of BMC in Ankara is closed down.
1000hp powerpack is progressing without problems. The R&D project will likely finish in 2023. Vehicle integration and mobility tests will start after that.
1500hp powerpack has problems with the transmission part. Engine and transmission are still separate. Those should have been coupled and run together for the first time by now. I don't think the R&D part will finish before 2024 there is a good chance of slipping to 2025. Depending on how it goes there is little chance that the 1500HP powerpack will be ready, fully integrated, and finished with mobility tests before 2025-2026.

I'm not surprised by this. The hardest part was always the transmission part anyway.

If we had faced such a problem 20 years ago, "The 1500 HP domestic power pack project is effectively dead." I would say.

However, thanks to the advancement of battery (and serial hybrid systems) technologies, it is possible to develop and produce 1500/2000 HP domestic power packs without the need for mechanical transmission.

The only thing to criticize is that we did not start the development of the 1500 HP domestic power pack with the Altay project. It should have been foreseen that the Germans would cause problems.
