SSB deserves great praise indeed. Congratulations.

Gentlemen, Turkish defense industry is very strongly positioned, especially in armored wheeled vehicles. We have BMC, FNSS and OTOKAR.
in fact, BMC and FNSS win, OTOKAR loses. As long as OTOKAR does not change its product philosophy. she won't see a cent from TSK.

If we want to see the matter politically, both BMC and FNSS are equally close to the government. Unfortunately, OTOKAR is very far away. But it's your own fault. They did not want to understand but also did not want to see what TSK intends.

To the matter:
About 2600 vehicles will be sold. Of these, 2600 will go to BMC, but 2600 will also go to FNSS. FNSS is very strong in vehicle internal armor. BMC is very strong in armor steel. So they have to order from each other. Big plus point is the MOTOR. BMC has its own engine. All IP rights belong to the BMC, not to the SSB.

FNSS has to buy the engine from the BMC, BMC has to go to the FNNS for internal armor of the vehicles. This is called a profitable synergy effect. (Until TÜMOSAN can deliver suitable engines to FNSS in large quantities. I think TÜMOSAN needs time for that too.)

I read that BMC has been given time by political decision-makers so that they can be free with Altug. Gentlemen, FNSS has also been given time so that they can manufacture landing gear from PARS domestically. At that time, the chassis components were from PARS in the Czech Republic.

OTOKAR buys important compotents from abroad and somehow OTOKAR buys these parts more expensive than normal. That has not gone unnoticed either. At some point they fly up, but violently.

Don't forget!!! : TSK was very patient with COBRA 1. The vehicles were good, but as long as they had spare parts. OTOKAR was not able to keep Cobra vehicles in use as guaranteed. TSK does not want to experience the same thing again. But OTOKAR did not understand that.

I hope the whole thing goes on stage quickly because time is running out.!!!
I miss a track wheeled IFV of both company.

The problem is that Altuğ scored very low on field performance tests and it is also not cheap so it doesn't win on that front either. This 25-vehicle order is like giving BMC another 2 years to patch up Altuğ. The real order is postponed to 2027-2028.

Even ak47 can penetrete this cover ,demaging engine and taking it out 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ BMC should be clossed or banned from military products , lets them produce buses , even kirpis that are great for their role are not their design 🤦‍♂️

Currently, the best IFV we have is Pars Alpha with an overall slight edge over Arma II. Those two are close and Altuğ is behind with a big margin. Arma II is expensive so Pars Alpha also offers the best price-to-performance ratio.

BTW, the FNSS contract value is 65 million $ so 2.6 million $ for each vehicle. Cost-effectiveness is off the charts for such a good platform.

Pars was beside from the price also from logistics a better choice as Pars 4x4, Pars Scout 6x6/8x8 and Pars IV 6x6 are already in service or going to be i just hope that Burc AD gets put in to service on the Pars Alpha chassis same with Mortar. Arma 2 is also very Heavy close to 40 tons and perhaps as navys buildup continues Arma 1 gets used by marines.

So acc. to Anil Sahin both Pars Alpha and Altug will be further tested by the TLF. Gonna guess they want to test serial-production vehicle.

Like I said I expect Pars Alpha to get the majority of orders in the end. BMC has been given a crumb for various reasons as mentioned by various people here.

Also IMO FNSS getting 3-4 variants speaks actually in their favour.
I expect we will also see a 35mm turreted version sooner than later of Alpha. FNSS probably will show off a SARP100/35 equipped version at IDEF this year.

Aselsan's workshare for the 29 Altuğ IFVs is 3.3 million euros per vehicle.

"A contract worth EUR 96,852,535 was signed between ASELSAN and BMC Otomotiv for the supply of Remote Controlled Weapon, Military Communication, Recognition and Identification, Self Protection and Navigation Systems for the needs of the Land Forces Command. Deliveries under this contract will take place between 2027 and 2028."

But more importantly, deliveries starting from 2027? What?! This has to be a joke.

"An agreement regarding the procurement of land vehicles payloads has been signed between ASELSAN and its local customer valuing EUR 296 Million. Deliveries will be made between the years 2027-2028."

Aselsan's share of the 25 Pars Alpha deliveries? Cost seems a bit steep, but the Alpha variants are more numerous than Altuğ and more "technical". Or maybe it's for something else. Maybe, hopefully for Leo2 TIYK?

It might be Altay. A total of 71 Altay will be delivered in 2027-28 (41+30). It is too expensive for the IFV deal.

The M60TM modernization may have been completed, many deliveries have been made recently, so the agreement may have been made for the Leopard 2A4T1 modernization.

I think land forces are going to have a problem in the future with the current procurement plan and the vehicles it wants to retire.
As we all know some 3000 vehicles are going to be acquired under YNHZA project both tracked and wheeled.
2000 are going to be wheeled FNSS pars alpha and sadly bmc altug although the composition is unclear.
Around 1000 are going to be tracked be that otokar tulpar or FNSS Kaplan family or bmc crap.
At the same time 2500 m113 and 2000 acv 15 will leave service as they are inadequate for combat.
And the Mrap fleet is 3000-4000 strong and that is for our army to little equipment to be honest.
So I propose first to upgrade around a thousand acv 15 as they are currently doing know not directly for front line duty but secondary duty.
250 equipped with RCWS another 250 open gun turret and the other 500 for special purpose ambulance, shorad, recovery, mortars, command and control, supply logistics.
And buy additional 4x4 apc something not to heavy max 12 tons like NMS L similar to the JLTV preferably around a 1000 vehicles equipped with different types of RCWS from ASELSAN
