If they ask that other foreign troops to move out, it should be considered.

First they asked for 1000 Wagner operatives and now they want Turks.
We should stay away.
Should have just asked the turks straight away. Turkey would be open to spread its influence in mali and africa in general. They are a muslim country and turkey can provide both security, training and investment. Turkey should put one foot in mali.

Turkey should never enter the shithole known as Mali!
There are french and Russian troops there
With Turkey in the mix; shit would be way too unstable

There is nothing justifying Turkey's presence there
The only thing that may encourage Turkey to participate if they either get Uranium, Gold, or Gas/Oil as compensation and nothing else

A training mission is the only thing that I can see happening. We simply do not have the means to give them the support they need right now. Neither monetary nor equipment wise.

In the latter part of the sixteenth century, the army of Borno was modernised and expanded. Firearms (still relatively new in Europe) were imported from North Africa and Turkish mercenaries were recruited. The decline of Borno in the 18th century is not at all well documented. However, it appears to have been gradual and in the main peaceful.

Not the first time that Turkish soldiers made their way into the interior of the Sahara desert.
