It would be taken out by a stinger is what
Then you hunt down the stinger with other assets covering the downed aircraft.

Admittedly it's just a suggestion. But I wonder if unmanned, cheap and reusable dive bombers have a future. It can work especially if the opponent has weak air defence. It would cut down munitions spending considerably.

This is a scandal. Wounded soldiers who could be saved are killed inside by PKK-sympathizers.

The militairy hospitals with only Turkish medics should come back. This stupid government is the most incompetent government Turkey ever has seen.
In Azerbaijan, almost 99 percent of people say that Erdogan is the best leader of today’s Turkey. I have personally been observing his politics for 25 years, and I believe that he is the greatest political master of this century. Show us at least one leader in Europe, or even in the whole world, who can be compared with Erdogan! There are no such!
Oland is just an idiot. Sarkozy, Macron - these French buffoons.
Joe Biden is nonsense! Trump is a misunderstanding!
Erdogan! The world has never seen such a brilliant leader in our century!

That's because you refuse to look into the Ergenekon-Balyoz sham trials, Çözüm Süreci clown show and the effects of unchecked illegal immigration. Also mismanagement of the economy is on another level.

He could have stopped all of it. He didn't.

Okey he has some good international efforts (Ukraine grain deal, bullying Greece in the Aegean, supporting Karabach, Libyan operation, world is bigger than 5, Kashoggi-exposure, kidnapping of Pastor Brunson, cheap oil from Peshmergas, bullying France in Africa) but his Syrian Campaign is a disaster.

I can agree that there were some dark moments that were not entireli clear to me. But, excuse me, what politician didn"t have them? I'm far from idealizing him.

This is what I'd expect from a country ruled by Aliyev like it's his personal fief.

A huge ass guided thermobaric bomb would heat up their tunnels really good, then move in and destroy the tunnels so that they can't be used again.

This is not a big deal for our Defence Industry and makes way more sense than trying to develop useless UGV's for tunnels.
The issue is that a lot of these tunnels are bored through mountains/are caves in the mountains. It's pretty hard to effectively target them with air dropped bombs.

In fact, I think we are seeing the limits of air-to-ground precision guided bombs... They are great for fighting conventional foes and hitting larger assets, but not particularly suitable for COIN warfare in mountainous terrain.

Autonomous helicopters and large quadrocopters specifically designed to seek, investigate and engage cave/tunnel targets are the next step we must take.

These would be true hunter-killers up in those mountains

Bro, identification of the tunnels is an easy job. Our guys there know where the tunnels are. OKK also has specialized equipment that can do even more than that.

The problem is that the current tactics and methods for cleansing them are not working anymore. We are not talking about caves or a 200m long tunnel. We are talking about multi-floor kilometers long tunnels. Dropping bombs at the exit or ventilation holes don't work anymore. As far as I remember when it comes to the Seri tunnel (we have martyrs still inside), even drilling didn't work as the rock is extremely hard.

We need an innovation, otherwise we may be stuck there for even 10 more years without result while they are even expanding the tunnels from inside.

AFAIK hamas tunnels were built by Israel during occupation and are like proper constructions. I don't think these tunnels use concrete and such
Hamas tunnels have different needs and purpose so they are built differently. The major tunnel networks we are talking about are not the ones we know. Some of them are reinforced with concrete construction. With time they also expand them in terms of size and capability. Different needs are met.

CNN TÜRK Ankara Representative Dicle Canova shared new details about the attack in which 9 soldiers were martyred in the Metina region in northern Iraq:

- I received information that terrorists attacked not only a single base, but also 5 different bases at the same time. Due to the precautions taken at the other 5 bases, the attacks did not yield any results and were eliminated.

- They carried out 30-40 terrorist attacks, almost all of them can be said to be suicide missions because they do this by risking death. 28 of them were immediately neutralized.

- It is also known that PKK terrorists live in villages where they come from civilian settlements close to the base area. As the Turkish Armed Forces progress and get closer to the settlements, the terrorists living in the villages who have infiltrated the civilian population take action. New measures are on the way against this new method followed by the Turkish Armed Forces due to its civilian sensitivity.
