I heard that those areas will be cleared completely including cave networks and bases will be built.

We must stay there in that region definitely, otherwise we need each year a operation like this because those terrorist nests are born over and over again.

We must stay permanently there like Israel does in the Golan. Only then we can clean that area for good.

Bases should be established with Aselsan Karagöz overseeing them, along with RCWS on all corners to prevent any ambushes. Various types of VTOL attack drones should also be deployed in Türkiye's northern Iraq bases.

26 terrorists confirmed to be neutralised so far. Keep in mind that tunnels and bunkers have been targeted by heavy munitions, so the number is probably much higher.

Turkish incursions into Syria and Iraq along with building bases and intiating operations have largely stopped terrorist attacks happening in Turkiye.

Turkish armed forces has now taken the fight to the terrorists. Thats why they cant attack or even go into Turkiye as much as they could in the past.

Isis and pkks attacks have always happened in Turkiye because they always crossed from Syria and Iraq into Turkiye to cause attacks then they withdrew back to Syria or Iraq.

Now things have changed with the constant cleaning operations and putting areas under control.

The reason why Terrorism has plagued Turkiye for decades because as Usual the Turkish armed forces was just focused on protecting Turkiye rather than going into its neighbour countries. Well they did numerous times but they did not stay for long it was always rinse and repeat.

Destroy the terrorists and their places then come back to Turkiye. This allowed numerous terrorists to bring themselves back overtime.

Its good how the fight is now being taken to where they are now the TSK is staying there for good and not allowing any filth to get into Turkiye.

Biggest problem we have is Iran as pkk is now going into Iran with Iran turning a blind eye and even supporting them. So we need to even strike them at Iran. Then you have the ypg which is under american and russian protection.

But in the 70s, 80s and the 90s I think it was much worse with the numerous terrorist attacks and killings done by various terrorist groups.

Today is much better to be honest. With new weapons and new capabilities largely thanks to the homegrown Turksh defence industry.

I think numerous casualties have also led to reforms and modernisations. MIT has also come a long way.

I dont understand how Pkk would fail to infiltrate into Turkey with our current border control policies(which are non existent) we literally let hordes of people in without control, why would Pkk/Ypg fail to infiltrate Turkey?

I feel like we are losing way too many soldiers in this operation for some reason. We've lost 4 soldiers in a single day. That's unacceptable really.

Maybe because you launched an air assault to one of their main camp regions, btw. this is the 6th day of the operation now.

Very harsh terrain soldiers have to literally enter huge caves and clear them. There has to be some solutions for the caves for example, very small robotic vehicles equipped with day/night camera’s loaded with explosives can enter the cave and search/destroy any enemy combatants without endagering the soldiers lives.

We are talking about terrorists not refugees or illegal immigrants.

No doubt that terrorists use this to exploit any situation.

Both different things. Turkiye is nothing more than a bridge to get into Europe.

True that. However more needs to be done on this topic. We could theoretically concentrate more on autonomous systems idk. It's just sad seeing our young boys die that's all.
