Important development around Aleppo. Turkey is forming a joint operation room consisted by SNA units operating around Aleppo. The name of the new operation room is "Azm" (in English "Determination Operations Room").

Jaish Al-Islam, Jash Al-Sharqiya, Ahrar Sharqiya, Hamza Special Forces Division, Sultan Malik Shah Division, Liwa Suqur Al-Shimal, Sultan Murad Division, Suleyman Shah Division, Ahrar Al-Sham 20th Division, Ahrar Al-Sham 51st Division are the groups known participating for now. This means 25.000+ fighters organized under a clear chain of command. This is important structural upgrade to the Syrian National Army which aims at improving the chain of command and coordination between the groups and SNA commanders. This also means that the commanders in these groups will no longer act independently and will have to follow a chain of command.

The operation room will operate like the successful operation room Fath Al-Mubeen in Idlib consisted of HTS, National Liberation Front and Jaish Al-Izza which ensured the coordination between HTS and SNA elements in operations against Regime forces, DEASH, Rouse The Believers Operations Room. I think this is an important step into properly structuring the SNA and ensuring the proper coordination between different groups in different areas with their specific areas of responsibility.

They also sanctioned Assad intelligence officials.

Ahrar Sharqiyah was one of the factions who threatened US SOF in 2016 and then murdered that Hevrin Khalaf politician in 2019, so people in the US has wanted to do this for a while.
