The situation in Daraa is hot again after the failed Russian sponsored negotiations between the Assad regime and Opposition forces. The negotiations according to reports went bad and Regime representative cut the speech of the Opposition. In result of this act a dispute started between the Russian and Regime side. The Regime representative was calmed down.

After the failed negotiations SAA brought artillery forces and other reinforcements to Daraa and started to target the opposition with artillery. In result the Opposition announced mobilization for all forces in Daraa area and they vowed that any aggression will have appropriate response.

At the moment clashes are going on. At least one regime tank and heavy weapon technical were destroyed by the Opposition. The Opposition fighters opened 3 fronts against the Regime and they are hitting them hard. Arbin-Misraba road which is 10km away from Damascus was cut off. Additionally Damascus-Amman road was also cut off.

In another interesting development according to the YPG/PKK terrorists sources TSK is bringing tanks, howitzers, mortars, Dshk's and other heavy weapons to the Tall-Tamr area. Also SNA forces are bringing reinforcements to Tall-Tamr.

Judging by his pain and behavior I can see broken ribs from here. Trying to cross another sovereign country's borders illegally is wrong but the soldiers went to far. Send your children, women, ill and elders above 55 and not fighting age people. Today broken ribs tomorrow bullet in your chest. Everybody should be responsible for his actions.

it's terrible, but they're probably sick of seeing these cowards crossing over, getting housed and an income, whilst spitting on the Turkish flag, getting into conflict with actual Turkish nationals, and mutilating the cats of Istanbul. These guys are going to be another separatist issue for Turkey in the future, where they demand shariah, Arab language everywhere, and eventually the old "ancient lands" chestnut.

US-backed YPG missile attack wounds 17, kills 2 in Syria’s al-Bab

Amissile attack launched by the PKK terrorist organization’s Syrian wing, the YPG, killed two and wounded at least 17 people early Friday in northern Syria’s al-Bab district, cleared of terrorists by Turkey’s Operation Euphrates Shield.

Residential areas of the district were targeted in over 10 separate missile attacks.

The YPG terrorist group often mounts attacks on Jarabulus, Afrin and Azaz from Syria's Manbij and Tel Rifat areas, which remain under its occupation.
“Two civilians lost their lives, and two others were injured. One of the injured is a volunteer in the White Helmets, in Hazwan village, east of Aleppo, hit by direct targeting with guided missiles fired from the areas controlled by the SDF and regime forces,” the White Helmets Syrian civil defense group wrote on Twitter, using another name for the YPG. The group added that it was deliberately hit and underlined that it is not a legitimate target.

Turkey’s Defense Ministry also condemned the attack in al-Bab and said, “In retaliation to these attacks by terrorists brutally murdering innocent civilians, terrorist targets were shot effectively with howitzers, artillery and mortars.”

Once ruled by Daesh terrorists, al-Bab was liberated three years ago in Operation Euphrates Shield, which was carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and the Syrian National Army (SNA).

Turkey launched Operation Euphrates Shield on Aug. 24, 2016, to eliminate the threat posed by Daesh and the YPG/PKK terrorists on Turkey's southern borders.
Following its liberation, most of al-Bab's residents have returned to the town.

Euphrates Shield is one of the three successful counterterrorism operations that Turkey launched since 2016 across its border in northern Syria to prevent the formation of a terror corridor and enable the peaceful settlement of residents. The other two are Olive Branch carried out in 2018 and Peace Spring in 2019.
The United States recognizes the PKK as a terrorist group, but works together with the YPG, ostensibly to fight Daesh. Turkey says using one terrorist group to fight another makes no sense.

Turkey strongly opposed the terrorist group’s presence in northern Syria and the formation of a terror corridor, which has been a major sticking point in strained Turkey-U.S. relations. Ankara has long objected to the U.S.' support of the YPG, a group that poses a threat to Turkey and terrorizes local people, destroying homes and forcing people to flee. While underlining that a country cannot support one terrorist group to fight another, Turkey conducted its own counterterrorism operations, over the course of which it has managed to remove a significant number of terrorists from the region.

Locals in YPG-controlled areas have long suffered from its atrocities. The terrorist group has a lengthy record of human rights abuses, ranging from kidnappings of suspected persons, recruiting child soldiers, torture, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement in Syria.

Under the pretext of fighting Daesh, the U.S. has provided military training and given truckloads of military support to the YPG, despite its NATO ally’s security concerns.

Turkey once again reiterated its condemnation of nations supporting the terrorist group.

“Countries that are encouraging the continuation of attacks that target peace and stability in our region through activities that constitute crimes by protecting the PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG terrorist organization despite Turkey’s goodwilled warnings and contrary to international law, are strongly condemned,” the Turkish National Security Council said in a statement late Thursday.

“States that establish illegal relations with terrorist organizations and that use terrorism as a foreign policy tool are reminded that it is inevitable their stance will lead to destructive consequences.”

soldiers are humans to not robots if they are to long on duty usual discipline get loose after many repetition actions, it is not justification and they should be held accountable by military rules of conduct and if you want to avoid these kind of events more frequency in troops rotation on borders is needed.

While we follow the rules of conduct everyone gets to give a f***

Unfortunately that is what's going on and the ones being decent get's the shit-end of the stick. That's the kind of world we live in. You should know from how the Balkan wars went.

This tit for tat isn't cutting it. We need to hit them harder and with precision and take out strategic assets.

only ground incursions can help, i wonder what kind of political conditions among the main actors would provide such opportunity.

Erdogan does not have balls. Tsk have their hands tied.

Inaction is costing us.
That is the price of all those construction projects, when you are indebted all the up to your uterus. And burdened economically and with refugees that's when your enemies and allies fuck you over.

When your government doesn't work on reducing debt to 0, you can't do anything.

Does not matter how bad our internal problems are when we have to strike terrorists.

We are too busy playing the dumb defending role. If erdogan lacks will power to strike ypg because he is scared of usa and russia means his not for the job. Let the tsk decide.

Usa and russia cant do anything as we are striking proxies not their soldiers or bases.

You fail to understand that economy isn't an internal problem. He (RTE) is borrowing money from outside Turkey for all his projects and even selling off harbours to Qatar (for instance). So when you start borrowing money from abroad that's when you are fucked! Especially if you want to start hitting terrorists whom your allies consider friends.

When you import construction materials from abroad, do you think they accept an IOU ???

Ironically enough, going into mass debt while not using that money for anything benefiting the nation was a major problem for the Ottoman Empire in the late 19th century. There's a reason it's a favorite tactic of China for pulling other countries' into their orbit and it was a favorite tactic of the US before we realized that we could just send in the Marines to kick peoples' asses if they refused to play ball.

Money went to the minorities like the Jews, Greeks and Armenians while us Turks got nothing.

I find it ironic how minorities complain about Islamic rule when they themselves were the ones who benefitted from it due to Muslim rulers preferring Christians and Jews over so called rebellious Muslims.

In other words Muslims dont trust Muslims. This shit costed us for centuries.

Muslims today can still romantice about these Islamic Empires which kept us improvished for centuries.

Thats why they collapsed good riddance.

I dont hate my history regardless I embrace the good, bad and the ugly but I refuse to romantice it.
