so many opinions and accusations from someone with so little wisdom.

We all know whats going on, we all know what to expect from "allies" and enemies alike. The reality is that AK party played her cards exceptionally badly and continue too.

Syria has been a disaster, lets not play it any other way.

Ataturk had to fight a seven nation army to make sure Turkey survived as independent nation, with much less facing much bigger threats and dangers he won. AK party have faced far less with much bigger resources and been a massive failure.

Thats the reality, they have for the most part been losers.

Because we beated around the bush.

When the Syrian civil war started it was our perfect chance to form a safe zone and even enforce non fly zone.

But nah we just waited and done nothing. While the Americans and Russians gone in while the ypg/pkk and isis appeared.

What you have is a big clusterfck of epic proportions.

Man its demoralising to know that the FSA had 60% of Syria was close to taking Assad out. Assad was planning on leaving the country.

Seriously Erdogan's inactions piss me off so bad!! He does this so many times its fustrating.

If AKP had any balls or diplomatic sense, they'd be protesting and lobbying against this at every turn.
For those who are asking,
It seems that the AKP did officially complain to Swiss envoy

I still believe it is useless to do such things as there wont be any gain to it
Let them dance internationally, while turkey kicks them in the ass from behind in Syria

This isnt how this works
I wont deny Ataturk's achievements but you are comparing two different scenarios

1- Ataturk had nothing to lose, it was a war in which either the turks created a decent home for them to live in or they would have been wiped out from the map and after the ottomans lost, turks were relegated to a small plot of land near the black sea where they would slowly die off so in both scenarios the turks would have died either way; however, ataturk had the guts to bet against all odds and won
2- Erdo is bound by many things; the YPG is backed by the USA which is literally the largest military on earth and one of the largest trading partners of Turkey in addition to one of the greatest investors in Turkey. Can you guess what would have happened if one of the US soldiers died while you kill the PKK without any notice or "Diplomatic" reason? The USA would have flipped Turkey upside down. The same is the case with Russia. Turkey, rn, is fighting in Syria with too many restraints and its only 2 cards are refugees and allying with Russia which in this scenario isnt fqing enough. You guys are underestimating these two countries a lot. Lets looks at it from another perspective, if Turkey just out of nowhere entered Syria.... it would pave the way for sanctions, such measures imposed by either the USA or EU would cripple Turkey and the prime example for this is Iran. Just think about the massive billions that would be lost in addition to jobs and investments. At that moment, ppl not only would rebel against Erdo but would have also killed him.

Iam not saying that Syria isnt a disaster; it is without a doubt a disaster and the AKP may have played it badly but you act as if Turkey had many methods to use in order wriggle through against such superpowers while Turkey is still small and growing and the AKP somehow threw it away. Although I do agree that throwing the refugee card is a waste tbh even if the EU promised a new trade deal...... like I wouldnt trust those guys at all tbh

The reality is AK party dragged Turkey into the american/isreali war against Syria. The moment Turkey wanted to enter syria these same players that got Turkey involved threatened Turkey not to enter. We even had the USA making statements that if we entered Turkish assets would become legitimate targets for the US military while the americans sheltered YPG assets.

They AK PARTY got "tricked" and have been used and manipulated ever since. The reality is the western world never wanted Turkey to enter syria, they wanted to balkanise syria and make sure kurdistan is created since the long term target of all these regional wars is Turkey herself.

You can't expect fools and losers to win. As long as AK party stay in power Kurdistan will form in Sryia, after it forms in Syria the International community will unite to make sure it forms in Turkey just like it formed in iraq and syria previously.

Just like Assad and Saddam were turned into bad guys whose countries needed to be invaded they will attempt the same with Turkey.

Americans, Europeans and Jews run the world economy.

Its not anti semitic or racist to point that out.

Us Turks know how to fight but we fall off when it comes to diplomacy and the economy.

China is already trying to breakthough with the American, European and Jewish ran global economy.

Are the Turks going to sit there and do nothing or challenge the status quo? But we sapped every potential due to corruption and short term gains.

Corruption within the political class and mass ignorance among much of the populations kills Turkeys true potential. Turkey runs at 20% of what she should be because of these two issues.

Now Turkey has been flooded with millions of backward islamist types from the middle east and afghanistan the ignorance level in Turkey has fallen even further. Turkey is rotting from within.

If we continue down this path within 20 years Turkey may not exist. Not because of the power of any outside force, but because of the ignorance of her people. The Turkish people cannot keep defending this incompetence.

Lets not end up like the Palestinians screaming Allah is great while being humilated and destroyed by people who hate them. Lets not live to see an era where Turkish islamists are screaming God is great while american, russian, french and british planes bomb civilians and their troops rape the woman and slap the kids around.

When we look at history, there is only winners and losers. The losers end up going through hell that can in some cases last over a thousand years. The Turkish people within themselves have so much capability and potential that has to come out, it cannot keep being held back because of ignorance.

This is entirely a false narrative and wishful thinking. Nobody has tricked Turkey to enter Syria but it was rather forced to it by two incidents first the YPG and second Assad pushing refguees into Turkey two things created necessary need for an invasion and was highly crucial for Turkey at that given time and is still to today to remain there and resettle the remaining inside Turkey there and develope the area

Another juvenile post you are comparing Turkey to none-state actors and using the word God is great in bad light which is entirely uncalled for if you ask me. Turkey has fought in WW1 with all powers against herself and stood her ground. The performance was absolutely outstanding despite being outnumbered which was admirable and glorius spirit. Never compare none-state actors with state actors but to be frankly honest your just a troll. The Mods should carefully look into your posts

To become so weak was a great disgrace, the Ottoman decline should never have been so drastic. Yes what Ataturk and the Turkish people achieved was exceptional. But if they failed and lost the independence war, my own opinion is that none of us Turks exist today. The greeks with their european masters behind them would have slaughtered the people while raping the woman.

Today we watch the Uygur Turks getting wiped out and humilated by the communist chinese and we are quite, we have become so weak that we cannot do anything about it. Is that acceptable? Don't think that won't ever come to the Turks. If you keep losing geopolitically the end result will be a nightmare.

Today in syria kurdistan 2.0 is being created, that means Turkey is losing. How many times do we lose until its too late?

Yes we got an insane imperial history, kicked everyone's ass from east to west. Conquered and destroyed many empires from east to west. But we didnt do this by being ignorant and stupid.

Much of the world if they could would love to wipe Turks out because of history of conquering them. No one will be kind to us if we fall.

Nonsense, Turkey wanted to enter early. Do you remember the leaked recordings of wanting to create a false flag to enter, which was leaked by feto. Do you remember Davutoglu saying they could enter either with UN approval or Nato approval neither were given. When Turkeys fighter was downed, Turkey wanted to enter and every point america, russia and the west threatened Turkey not to enter.

I could run off a monthly history of events, someone like you that has no memory shouldn't make accusations. Stay ignorant and one day maybe we turn into the next palastinians. Screaming to god while getting wiped out by technologically superior foes who couldnt care for Allah.

Why you even mentioning Uighurs in this context.. They are irrelevant because they are a minority in a country of 1.4 Billion and do you know their numbers only 9m... Uighurs are like a drop of water into a vast ocean and most of it was propaganda that failed.. It wanted Pakistan to turn against China.. It was politically motivated.

Kurdistan is not being created Turkey is present both in Syria and Iraq and they won't be leaving for decades to come..

Yes Turk has imperial history and I do believe people seek to wipe Turks out but what does this has to do with being smart. This current Turkey is smart and doing everything right as it stands. They don't lack brains nor capabilities plus they are on the right path..

How did the previous Muslim generations conquer half of the world and were the world hegemony power for almost 1000 years? They were religious? Religion itself has no link to whether someone is smart or not it plays no role..

Even these who found the US and colonized the Americas were colonized by these in Al-andalus who invented all the knowledge you learn in school such as Chemistry, biology, Math, and Astronomy etc etc.. They were the once these colonizers in the Americas stole the knowledge from in how to build great ships that could withstand everything...

But honest to god you are a troll.. Lets just leave it here don't quote me anymore....

Wholeheartedly agree with every word you said in this post tbh!
However, I would like to say that the idea of Syrian and Iraqi Kurdistan had always been on the agenda even before the Americans asked for it. In fact, the idea of puppet Kurdistan was first brought up by the French and British when they wanted to divide the lands they gained from the Ottomans! It is just that it was difficult to Implement since Syria was stable at the time. In fact, I wouldnt be surprised to find out that the Russians and Americans struck a deal under the table to divide Syria into a part by Russia and a part by America which will later be called Kurdistan

My question here is, what should the government have done to prevent this? As i saie before, the formation of syrian puppet kurdistan is imminent whether Turkey intervened or not as it was a long term project initiated long ago! What changed is that the Turkish Intervention literally moved the puppet Syrian kurdistan around 10-30 km away from its border which aided in reducing PKK members entering the country directly

You also said that Turkey was "Tricked" into entering Syria, which I believe is wrong. Certainly, Turkey was threatened to not enter Syria by the west million of times but that wasnt because it would be bad for tukey but bad for the west since the west knows that Turkey would enter to decapitate the PKK which is happening rn. In fact, one of the prime reasons for why I think so is the political backlash from all sorts of the political spectrum when President Trump decided to pull US troops away from turkish border by around 30 km; as far as I remember, one senator even said: "Such a move from President Trump made it difficult for the YPG to achieve its long lasting wish". According to Turkish defence minister, more than 18k PKK members has been killed since 2015 which is a massive blow to the PKK in terms of numbers and may even scare new potential recruits from joining the organisation. That is why the west hates Erdo too much

Oh and one more thing, the ottomans fall was drastic not only because of the west but also due to the traitorous Arabs that broke the ottomans from within. Many monarchies rn are afraid from Turkey because they know that all what they gained was originally from betrayal and if Turkish people one way or ankther were to sttongly embrace their imperial heritage again, it would spell the end of the current monarchies in the middle east
That is why such monarchies want the middle east (including Turkey) to be controlled by proxies loyal to them and no other

Ottomans did not collapse because of the Arabs. Ottomans were collapsing long before the Arabs thought about Arab Nationalism.

Arabs did stage some rebellions and uprisings but they were localised before Arab nationalism and tbe Arab revolt.

Ottoman empire collapsed due to multiple factors. Its stupid to blame Ataturk, Islam or even the Arabs for it. Even today Historians are still debating about the decline and collapae of the Ottoman Empire. Since its a 600 year old empire there is no official consesus same with the Roman Empire.

Ottoman Empire was suffering from nationalism all the ethnic groups in the empire both Muslim and Non Muslim wanted to break away. You also had many Muslims who both Turk and Non Turk that wanted to preserve the empire. But as usual ethnic identities surpassed religious identities.

The Ottomans basically lost the support of Muslims. Only Muslim Turks were the loyal ones of the Empire until it collapsed and the Republic of Turkey took its place. A lot of the Turks realised the empire could no longer be saved what mattered was the Turkish homeland be saved.

Ottomans knew they were going to lose land in the middle east hence why Cemal Pasha wanted to create reform the Ottoman Empire in the lines of Austria-Hungary where the Turks and Arabs had equal status basically become a Turk-Arab confederation because the Turks and Arabs formed the majority of the Empire in the 1900s.

As usual the plan failed due to multiple reasons.

Sounds good. Then I remembered the tussle in Daara in Syria. Which reminded me on MKE establishing production in Jordan. I wonder if the Daara incident could have been seen coming by TR FM.

I tried to google it and this article from 2018 came up.

As Yeter Makina We Hosted MKEK and Jordan Delegation

28 July 2018
We hosted MKEK and their Jordanian defense sector representatives delegation within their program in Yeter Makina.
During their visit we made Yeter Makina company presentation with our catering service. They were informed regarding our special solutions for defense industry. After the presentation, delegation reviewed an example of our defense sector solution as an ongoing project, and they gave full marks to machine.
In addition, delegation was informed about our white appliances, automotive, food, medical and general industry solutions such as;
  • Special purpose machines
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Conveyor systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Product lifelong testing systems.
Both MKEK and Jordan committee reviewed examples of our solutions below. After review, delegation visited Yeter Defense and Aviation Company which is our group member. They were informed about work-flow and working principle about defense industry solutions which are offered by Yeter Defense and Yeter Makina.

On the other hand, the group was informed about Ostim Industrial Zone and its capacity for general industry and defense industry. After they accepted our gift a family picture was taken. The delegation expressed their satisfaction about the visit, they left our facilities.

As Yeter Makina, we offer solutions in the fields of defense industry and general industry in line of “indigenization” target. To reach this target, we strength our international relations.

Let us do it for you.

_______________________________

I wonder if the Refugee issue lead to this, or other factors where Jordan is going to be strengthened more with domestic arms production.
@Philip the Arab do you have some insight as to what it may be ?

I still believe that it is a mistake to help Arab monarchies in the first place. Lets not forget that Jordan was a quiet supporter of General Haftar! The moment you help their domestic defense industry, the more you will suffer in the long term. For example, UAE's EDGE group! If such a company was left to grow, UAE will be able to strongly back who they want in the wars
