As this forum was opened in 2020s, after bulk of the fighting in the civil war had stopped, most of the content on this thread is about Turkish perspective into the war and more recent operations, like the Idlib defense from 2020. New thread will be a better fit for the greater conflict.
Opposition fighters have been engaged in intense fighting against Iranian and Russian backed Assad militants who have been targeting civilians in the liberated areas for days. Take this with a grain of salt. We still don't know what is going on.

This current thread will be mostly used for SNA and Turkish actions toward northern and northeastern Syria, like the current Tel Rıfat offensive against KCK-YPG. This means two threads to follow but we think it will be easier to comb through the developments for outsiders to the conflict.
