We've seen militias capturing towns quickly before.. The issue comes once the enemy uses air power.

I don't think Assad will just let Aleppo go so easily. If the regime senses that we won't back SNA with air and anti-air assets, they might think they can get away with flattening Aleppo.

Hama must be captured no matter what and capturing Homs would be safeway to gain time to build proper defenses in Aleppo and Hama for future offensives. Moreover, it would make it easier in the capture of Latakia in the future so that the rebels can have access to the sea

Assads airpower is only good for is mass bombing. I agree anti air defences systems and ews need to be activated.

Rumours of Assad using Iraq as way to talk to Turkiye.

Assad all but deserves it remember how Turkiye tried to reach out them numerous instead they constantly insulted Turkiye even leaving the Arab league conference when Turkish representatives spoke.

Fck them not to mention Syria along with Assad regime still have claims on Hatay. They need to be taught a lesson. Now they are getting that lesson.

What im worried about is the rebel infighting which will fck up all gains. Russia is all but bogged down in Ukraine. If Ukraine-Russia come to the table and do peace its also bad for Turkiye as Russia will no doubt try come back to Syria.

Usa has been silent lately which is sinister.

they are probably negotiating with Assad as well. it is stupid to think that we are the only one negotiating with Assad. US will do the same for getting more concession from Assad for YPG. this is why we should leave a channel open for Assad but we should not forget the gains on the field as well if we push our luck too much HTS will join force with YPG as they did before as they declarer when they were burning our flags few month earlier when Erdogan said i want to talk with Assad

in my opinion we should not push our luck to its maximum ( overthrowing assad) otherwise he will make deal with americans. we must take oil fields and the the coasts leaving him without money and outside connection then MIT should established back channel with middle rank army commanders slowly but surely as assad gets weaker those commander will doubte assad ability to win they my switch their side. our main goals should be dealing with YPG not assad as russians and USA demonstrate they are more concern with YPG then assad our first objective should be kick them out of west bank of the river then do what israel did to Hezbollah systematical kill their leaders and destroy their oil field via drones while starting psychological war finally cut the SNA loose with advanced weapons when they are at their weakest

You know I would support Turkiye following the Cyprus model and give both the Syrian Turkmens and the Iraqi Turkmens their own country just like North Cyprus.

Syria and Iraq are all failed countries. Turkiye has tried numerous times to respect their territory integrity but it has been nothing but trouble as Syria and Iraq collasped into failed states.

Let the Turkic World get bigger.

Russia & Syria intesify air bombs in idlib and around , if they domt stop they will masacre anyone so i dont know what plan has Turkiye but without no fly zone , Assadist will retake aleppo sonner or later .
Turkiye at least not using SAM itself but could give and learn how to use some old SAMs to SNA like S125 neva that sent them to libya or MiM 23 hawk systems that will be replaced with hisar , same as west do in ukraine and Russia cant use its airforce

The rats are being taken out of the tunnels one by one. The patience of SNA personnel with these terrorists, who have been killing dozens of civilians with harassing shelling and ambushes for several years, is remarkable.

The most important thing that distinguishes the SNA from other armed groups in Syria is that they fight according to the laws of war and have the highest level of civilian sensitivity. That is why Pkk terrorists always fighting in civilian clothes and using civilians as shields.

Interesting

Russian Topwar happily wrote in the morning that

ISIS Thunderstorm: Hashd al-Shaabi Detachments Travel from Iraq to Syria

Then, 2 hours later, sadly continued writing that
Oops! Something went wrong :)

US Air Force strikes Iraqi Shiite militia column heading to aid Syrian army

«According to reports from the field, a column of Iraqi volunteers suffered serious losses as a result of an airstrike by US Air Force attack aircraft and is unlikely to be able to provide significant assistance to the SAR army units in the near future».

The Falcon Brigade, specialised in drones, neutralised 3 ZIL vehicles carrying Iranian-backed militias, 1 armoured pickup and a 130mm cannon, north of Hama with drone attacks.

Yup. Two edged sword. If it is active, we should see a Russian bombardment over it soon before opposition can bring in people who can use it. If they are able to bring it online, it would be a great asset in defence of Aleppo.

Hmm..

Guys, I think I found a good place to relocate our S-400's.

Russian warplanes are carrying out air strikes on Christian neighbourhoods in Aleppo.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan:

"It would be wrong to try to explain the events in Syria with any foreign intervention. "

"This is a mistake that those who do not want to understand the facts about Syria take shelter in."
