The SDF (YPG/PKK) insisted on its demands for integration and integration into the army as a bloc within three years (they had requested a three-year extension of the agreement, which expires on August 30th).

Respond with what exactly? Turkey couldn't even conduct similar strikes on the israeli proxy groups within Syria if it wanted to, otherwise the West would start crying about "Turkey is bombing le innocent, peaceful, freedom-loving, only democracy in the region, poor oppressed minority-Druze". AKP is too busy releasing PKK terrorists anyway.

The Druze Area is geographicly close to Israel and several hundret Kilometers away from Turkey. Syria for itself lack on a strong and credible Army, most of the Equipment is outdated. Our Air Defence and strategic Strike Capabillity is in a Phase of built up. We need to built up large Stocks of LACM, ALCM, ALBM and ballistic Missiles with Ranges > 500 km and more than 1000 km. We have a Number of multirole Fighters like the F-16 and arround 20 F-4E 2020 in Service, but we lack on a real Air Superiority Plattform.
