This just proves one thing, this government is ineffective and scared. Too scared to rock the boat, only concerned about staying in power. Think about why we haven't done a proper operation in years. Al-Hijri forces have recaptured Suwaydah today morning
This is due to the retreat of Syrian army which was then followed by a rapid counterattack from Al-hijri forces. Local sources reported that Israeli helicopters air-dropped weapons to the remnants of Hijri forces hours before the counterattack

Israel reportedly said to the US that Al-hijri must be the one to rule Suwaydah and that all the land between Suwaydah and Israel must be free from weapons. This is their red line

Following this, Al-hijri forces began a brutal campain of slaughter and displacement of the sunni arabs in the countryside of Suwaydah which will then be followed by mass deportations of sunni arabs from Quneitra, the province between Suwaydah and Israel.

Israel is laying the groundwork for forceful annexation of all the lands up till Suwaydah which will then be followed by the creating of a demilitarised bufferzone involving Damascus and then more Israeli annexation of lands

The same cycle will repeat itself until Israel swallows everything
