There won't be any operation in Syria. I have been waiting for this operation since years now, remembering fondly the glorious moment when our "Bordo Bereliler" captured the Afrin center and wishing the same for other north Syrian cities. But afterwards each time Erdogan says "we can suddenly come one night" and we don't "come" I was feeling humiliated. On the other hand, rationally thinking, the strategy of the state is right now. We need to gain time, at least five years and maybe more, even if we have to give some concessions in the meantime. We can reverse them afterwards when the time comes.I don't know why, but I have the feeling another turkish military operation in North Syria is imminent. I hope I am right about it and not day dreaming![]()
Indeed, Shara cannot do anything else. He needs time. He will need to continue to appease Israel and probably agree to give up the control of south Syria. But in return for this, Israel will gain a real enemy. That is, Israel's paranoic attitude will lead to the realization of its fear. Shara will be even closer to Turkey militarily in the future and Turkey will never forget what Israel has been doing in the last couple of years.
basically the USA are telling the syrian government to bend over and take it up the arse.

That is correct. Generations after Boomer won't be providing indefinite support to Israel in the future as was done so far. We just need to put up with Israel for the next 10 years or so. We need to be patient. Even now Trump does not like what Israel is doing but he has to obey as US is currently a servant of Israel. But we need to use the time very well. We shouldnt forget. I have always believed Israel and Turkey do not have any fundamental conflicts and I'd have preferred to be allies with Israel rather than Arabs who stabbed us from behind (and some still doing it actually). So I was against the islamist and ummah mentality. But I have realized Israel has now a policy of dividing and weakening every other country in middle east (except the ass licking ones) even if they don't really threaten Israel. This is no-go! I am now convinced, Turkey has no other option but work like crazy on its economy and military. As Turkey gets stronger and stronger, several middle east, african, and asian countries will become its "satellites". And once some laser or other technology is invented which will eliminate most air threats and thus also atom bomb threat (thus leading to a pat situation in air), then land forces may dictate the outcome of a war. This will then be the end of Israel. Even if this last conjecture does not materialize, a strong Turkey which will be followed by Arab countries can put a lot of pressure on Israel and cut its supply lines off both from land and sea.The three were idiots who caused the death of an empire and the near genocide of the Turkish people, don't mistake stupidity for bravery.
Right now there is a shift in how the United States sees Israel as the boomer generation dies that shift is going to be greater and Israel will loss it's privileges that is why it wants to destabilise the entire middle east now because it knows that it will not have the ability to fight tomorrow, as without the US, israel is nothing.
That's another view. Should we wipe out YPG now? We should have done it six months ago when Shara forces toppled down Asad. That window of opportunity is gone now. The state is now trying the peace card. I am guessing even Öcalan and YPG realized Israel is just using them and may sell them off anytime it doesn't suit its interests. Is is not like Turkey will be silent all the way. Turkey may allow some "small" concessions in Syria but not large ones, it is a bit of a balance act. Remember what Trump said to Netanyahu: "I believe I can help you with Erdogan. But you have to be reasonable". So currently, we still need to play for time. But this doesn't mean we will give whole Syria to Israel. If Israel becomes "unreasonable" and YPG plays with, Tturkish state will make pressure on Erdogan to act in Syria, who will need to follow suit (both to satisfy his political base but also given his personal views regarding Israel). The zionist/american axis have been playing a strategy of keeping her enemies divided and then picking them off one by one. As Turks i also think we need to understand that isreal will not give us 10 years let alone 20 to develop our military industry. The iranian axis for all intents and purposes is finished and it really put fuck all resistance up when Isreal decided to truly take them out.
Once the isrealis break enough of syria off they will simply assassinate Shara while having a puppet ready to takeover. The game is complete and total domination of the entire region.
The best thing we can do is sweep into the north east of syria and take out the ypg, that will break the Isreali purpose in the south in trying to create a corridor. But if we keep sitting on our dicks and doing nothing, a day will come when we will be all alone and the fight will be within our lands.
