Same could be said about the Arab countries. They have secular&nationalist regimes and they do nothing for Palestine. Only ones that Israel see as a threat are the "Islamists" as Naftali Bennett said today:

We will build an alliance of the "moderate forces" in the region against the "Islamist forces"—against Iran, against Qatar, Türkiye, and all the "radical forces."

As for the Uyghurs, the only Turkic country that actually cares about Uyghurs is still Türkiye. None others officially care. They actually side with China.

The clearest example was the UN Human Rights Council vote on Sincan on October 2022. Secular Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan voted against it, effectively siding with China. Türkiye was not a Council member at the time, but supported the motion.

Oh, also our "Islamist" government played a major role to take Karabagh back and they established Organization of Turkic States.

By the way, if Turks are "different breed" why do they keep voting the "coward islamists". Do you actually like the Turks even? It is quite obvious that you despise majority of our people as you keep insulting them.
Israelis also helped a ton to thr Azerbaijani intelligence and the army so what?

OTS was proposed by Nazarbayev.

How many times do we need to tell you. Islamism has been funded by the US for decades. They literally stated that they wanted the Kemalist military removed and a "mild Islamic" regime put in power.

Don't forget FETÖ and AKP are two sides of the same coin. Do you know why Central Asian states are trying to distance themselves from Islamists? Because they saw what happened to Afghanistan, and also China and Russia give Intel about US backed Islamist groups that are trying to gain a foothold there. Sorry to say, but that's what AKP is doing, and that's how Syria was won.

Same islamists were cheering on twitter that azeris were shia so thereafter they were quffar, Islamists would sell out their family members for a minority If that minority starts believing to Arabic religion lol
I remember them calling Azerbaijanis as fake Turks. This is their little tactic to try divide Turks.

But I love how this got so off-topic.

We were discussing about Israelis bombing our bases in Syria.

I am predicting we do nothing, because Erdogan is a coward.

Israel is a small little country that needs to be slapped or they'll never stop. But "They got nukes" , so we do nothing then?

What the hell are we doing in Syria then.. since Israel got Nukes we should be nowhere near them.. is that their logic?

Dude, do you still not realise what everyone is saying yet. It doesn't matter if Arabs are religious or secular, they're Arabs. Islam is like a tool for Arabizing a society.
Naftali Bennett, the other Israeli officials and the whole Epstein Regime disagree with you. They hate religious Arabs and prefer seculars.

We didn't have an Atatürk in Central Asia to defeat Russian Imperialism. So of course we're going to be at the mercy of not only Russia but also China. Do you seriously expect weak Central Asian Turkic states to oppose China?
Yeah, I agree. But why don't you guys show the same understanding when it comes to the Arabs? Do you expect weak Arab countries to oppose America?

Now there's a historic opportunity to unite the Turkic World and grow stronger together
Thanks to our "islamist" leaders. Özal started, Erdoğan continues.

They will be slapped in the right time and in the right form. Direct military engagement doesn't serve us until we have air superiority. We basically don't have much options against F35s and ballistic missiles.

There are scenes other than Syria that we could respond to Israel. Hakan Fidan was talking about taking "radical steps" with Egypt and Qatar against them in the context of Gaza. And then there is Lebanon, Eastern Mediterranean, Somalia etc.

Israel doesnt want a strong country especially in the region.

People need to realise this doesnt matter if Turkiye is secular or islamist.

They dont want a strong Muslim country or a Majority Muslim country that is strong.

Turkiye is a threat to Israel because it threatens their position in the Middle East and the Eastern Med sea. Not to mention we are different to Arabs and Persians hence why they are treating us with caution but they are also testing the waters. Our biggest problem right now is they figured out Erdogan loves condemnations and loves barking.

To tackle israel you need a Otto Von Bismarck type of person intelligence.

1) Do you still not understand that Islamists are just bogeymen to them? There's been numerous instances of the US or Israel backing Islamists only to turn on them at a later date. That's more useful to them then keeping them as allies. If the US actually wants to keep an ally as an ally, it'll paint them as democratic. Stop saying they hate Islamists, Islamists are very useful to them. Was Assad an Islamist? No, he got removed and essentially replaced by the groups that the US backed against him from the start.

2) Look at the bloody map, come on.

3) No, thanks to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

It truly pains me to say this but I guess that if Erdogan is truly smart or at the very least has smart advisors around him, then he should swallow that shame and continue as if nothing happened

At first, I thought that Turkey should respond firmly and set red lines but after reading @GoatsMilk post, I started having speculations that maybe Israel did want Turkey to respond in order to create a new war in the region

This speculation slowly turned to certainity after particular 3 events:
1-The Israeli narrative for why they targerted that base has changed about 4 times in less than 24 hours; whenever someone find inconsistency in their initial narrative, they change it as if this wasnt the actual reason

2- An article recently posted in the Middle East Eye that quoted anonymous Syrian officials stating that Turkey has no need to operate that base since they already have an airbase, housing turkish jets, close to Idlib and around 40 km away from the bombed base; they also mentioned that Turkey is renovating multiple bases aside from the one currently bombed and that if Israel's issue was expanding Turkish influence then they would have bombed all the bases and not only this one

3- In a recent speech by Indian PM Narendra Modi, during one of his rallies, he stated that he warned Israeli PM that Turkey, SA, and Pakistan wants to create an alliance beforehand to which Natenyahu's response was: We will initiate multiple wars in the Gulf against Iran that drains their resources and makes them incapable of forming such alliances; which obviously spectacularly failed!

Thus, I think that @GoatsMilk analysis of the current situation is spot on and that the recent Israeli attack was meant as a trap for Turkey in which Israel, if Turkey responds, would gradually escalate until a new war is reached (just like with Iran and Lebanon) and will rally the white goyim to fight both Turkey and Syria instead of Israel while the jew uses that opportunity to expand more into Syria and enforce a different reality on ground (that it couldnt force the US to do it in Israel's place) in which Syria remains fragmented and the newly propsed Mecca alliance remains geographically separated as well as isolated to have any real deterrence value.

Moroever, I think the reason Natenyahu is taking such a radical approach is that Syria will quickly recover, even if Israel bombed a couple of bases. All what Syria lacks rn is a proper airforce and AD systems which the US, EU, Russia, and China refused to provide in order to not antagonise Israel; therefore, as @GoatsMilk milk stated, Turkey should swallow its pride for now until its domestic AD and Jets are in full production and then have Syria gradually starting liberating its territory, in the medium term, which is what Israel truly fears since a couple of years from now, Israel may be alone in fighting their first official proper war in which the jew wont fight paramilitaries but proper armies which may spell into Israel's defeat since if the recent wars that Israel fought are anything to go by, they arent as strong as they proclaim to be; i-e, they fight weaker nations and proudly boast as if they defeated one the strongest nations on earth in a direct confrontation

This is why a lot of users wanted Türkiye to remain neutral from the start. Israel mended ties with Türkiye several years ago. Then Iran started pushed for the October 2023 attack that sparked the whole war. Iran was feeling the heat after the 2020 and 2023 Azerbaijan-Armenia conflicts. Ultimately it successfully severed ties between Türkiye and Israel.

Neutrality would've been better for all parties except Iran. Erdoğan's words have done more harm than good to the Palestinians. He's turned Israel into a cornered cat, and that's not good for anyone.

a) Footage from independence day speech (not a rally)

b) AI audio inserted to make the whole thing fake

c) Indian official response to this so called alliance has been kept to a muted foreign affairs ministry response. No one important, much less the PM...has made any reply to it anywhere. We don't treat it seriously given the Saudis pre-empted already by saying no defence treaties they make will be directed towards India.

Its simply about being rational. As Turks we know where we are heading, we also know where Isreal wishes to head. Its obvious from an isreali perspective they cannot allow Turkiye to rebuild the Syrian state and her army. Its obvious that this state will enter the defence pact with Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi when the time is right.

Isreal can get away with bombing the odd position here and there in syria, it can get away with occupying certain border regions. But it cannot get away with starting a full fledged war against Syria. There are many reasons for this, but that fact alone is where they have problems. Without starting a full fledged war against Syria/Turkiye there is no way to stop the Turkish/Syrian vision for the country.

So what they will hope to do is try to scare Turkiye off with these isolated attacks. That won't work because the very nature of the isreali demon means that its 100% in Turkiye's interests to build Syria as not only a projection of Turkish power but as a buffer of protection against said state. This doesnt even begin to include all the economic projects that require Syria to prosper in order for Turkiye to prosper.

The next option is to bait Turkiye into starting a war with Isreal, which will then allow Isreal to play the victim card and bring her global backers to fight Turkiye instead. Primarly the USA as is the case with iran. This is the option that must be avoided at all costs, its the only position if taken where Turkiye could lose completely.

Are isrealis mad enough to start an all out war against Turkiye, no. It can only come with american backing in that war. Will america be willing to start an all out war against Turkiye? Not if Iran is still standing. So its own interests that iran does not fall. Truth be told if Turkish intelligence can help the iranians counter the americans/isrealis it should be provided to them off the books.
