Wasn't it cancelled?
Roketsan suddenly removed CIDA from its website and brochures. IDEF was not seen in 2021 either. No official announcement was made about its cancellation. I think it will be re-announced by updating the design, lowering its weight, increasing its range and strengthening its homing ability. Because the military will demand a modern weapon to replace weapons like the RPG-7 and M72 LAW.

There was a company developing Carl Gustav clone, not remember the name might be some pictures in IDEF thread.
Found it.

I believe a TRG series missile has speed past mach 3.

Zircon is a hypersonic missile, and that means it's Mach 5+
TRG230 and TRG300 have top speeds of 4.2 Mach. Bora achieves hypersonic speeds. But these speeds are achieved as the missiles are diving towards Earth in the rarified layers of atmosphere.
Depending on their angle of descents and their aerodynamic structures, these missiles lose a lot of their momentum in their terminal phase. Due to the fact that they are basically quasi ballistic missiles, they have no thrust in terminal stages. Nevertheless they could manage to hit their targets at mid to high supersonic speeds, subject to their flight trajectories.
Zircon is an air breathing jet engined missile. It is powered by a Scramjet engine that has supposedly flown at around 8 Mach speed. Zircon has thrust at it’s terminal phase. So it can sustain the hypersonic speeds during it’s flight. So much so that, Russians claim at denser atmospheric layers, this speed creates a plasma cloud around the missile and makes it invisible to radars.
But myth to one side, Zircon is a formidable weapon. It can maneuver during flight making difficult to intercept.
I hope our Scramjet work, gives it’s fruits and we have a hypersonic scramjet powered missile as soon as possible.

By the way, almost all ballistic missiles achieve hypersonic speeds if they are heavy and fly high enough.

I dont think it would be difficult .. if they have the piercing warhead tech ..it would be much easier if such system is requested by SSB
It is necessary to work in microelectronics and materials science to miniaturize systems without reducing their efficiency. Step by step.

We need something to replace RPg-7s and M72s. They should consider using Gustav like recoilles guns. They offer flexibility with different warheads and also very cost effective. Even laser guided rounds can be fired from those type of guns.

URGENTLY! Sick of seeing ours with RPG. Replacement was part of "Tek-Er" program.

Production of high purity thorium oxide from complex ores leach liquor

This paper investigates a method for separation and purification of thorium from leach liquors containing rare-earth elements (REE). Iron, which causes problems in the stage of thorium extracting, was first removed by using Adogen 464 solvent. Thorium was extracted with 30% D2EHPA-in kerosene with 1/3 organic/aqueous ratio and stoichiometry of the thorium-D2EHPA complex was calculated as 1:2.6 from slope analysis. After the extraction, LREE and HREE were scrubbed from the extracted organic with 0.25 M H2 SO4 and 6 M HCl, respectively. Thorium oxalate was precipitated by oxalic acid and calcined at 1,050 °C. It was, after calcination, determined that purity of thorium oxide is 99.23%, based on the ICP-OES analysis.

ROKETSAN announced in 2019 that it is working on Thorium Oxide-based ceramics with a melting temperature of 3000 degrees.

ROKETSAN announced in January 2021 that it had developed a combustion chamber for the screamjet engine. The article implied that this technology was developed for hypersonic cruise missiles. Therefore, one of the critical raw materials that Turkey can use in the related project on the way to develop hypersonic cruise missiles has become available from domestic sources.

Is turkey developing any missiles beyond 3-4 mach? Something equivalent to russian zircon missile for example?
The Bogeyman is proud to remind it over and over again

The lower limit of the Screamjet engine technology developed by ROKETSAN, 4.4 Mach, that the upper limit will be 7.3 mach.

The Gökdoğan medium-range air-to-air missile will be tested in October.
