Is a Ramjet or Scramjet Propulsion for Tayfun or Cenk possible ?

Ramjet version is a different missile under the same PrSM designation.

Has to be a hybrit than, for Ramjet, Scramjet the missile needs an initial speed that pushes the air inside. These type of engines do not have a fan that compresses air into the engine like a turbojet engine.

Or it needs an initial booster that brings the missile at speed

Such kind of Missiles like this Hybrid is a usefull Supplement to slower flying Cruise Missiles. They also give an Enemy with an good Air Defence less reaction Time.

Standard PrSM missile US is testing is no different in size; but about a foot longer than the ATACAMS-140 missile.
Somehow they have attained a very high speed (just under 5 Mach) and nearly 200km extra range with the PrSM.
But still due to being a semi ballistic missile it will lose a lot of speed at terminal stage and as they may have attained this superior performance thanks to a very light weight shell , it will have a very low terminal weight whence exhausted it's fuel; thus effecting it's terminal speed detrimentally.

Introducing a throttle controlled ramjet engine in to a PrSM will render it more lethal as it will be able to hit it's target at nearly 3 Mach.
This will be US's Brahmos on steroids.
It would be most intriguing to see when they release technical details of this missile.

Turkey is already working on two different ramjet powered missiles; Tubitak's liquid fuelled Gokhan and Roketsan's solid fuelled Akbaba. Not much technical detail has leaked about these. But they are prospective game changers when they become part of our inventory. A missile that can hit moving targets that are 300-500km away like a ship at 3 Mach will have so much kinetic energy that it will pulverise any hull to smithereens.
First news about these two missiles were that the Gokhan to be a meteor replacement; hence air to air.
Akbaba to be a Harm anti radiation missile.
But there is nothing to hold us from applying this technology to bigger missiles and AShM once they are perfected.

I saw that according to some analyzers Akbaba was already test fired. Does that mean SAGE's ramjet engine is operational? If so what is taking them so long to reveal the missile and deliver it to TSK?

Early last year, TÜBİTAK Sage's then MD had stated that they had already performed well over 200 tests with the Gokhan. So logically it shouldn't be too long before we hear about a successful test firing of Gokhan; if it hasn't already been done in the absence of prying eyes.
Being a Gel based liquid fuelled missile, Gokhan is comparatively less intricate to develop. It would also render itself to be more adaptable to be an anti ship missile in later iterations.

Roketsan's Akbaba however, is a solid fuelled missile, and encompasses very complicated technologies especially if it has to be throttle controlled.
These two missiles are strategically of very high importance. It may be more prudent not to let too much information to become public about them. But at the same time, when you are developing such cutting edge weapon systems, difficulties and delays are part of the game.
Gokhan, being a Meteor replacement for our airforce, should really be available to our airforce at the same time the Greek Rafales are furnished with their Meteors.

Tayfun can be launched from Ship, this remember me on the chinese YJ-21 which are launched by Ships and reach Hypersonic Speed.
