I think people misunderstand Medium Range Anti-Ship missiles. It's being developed specifically to be launched from Helicopters, the follow on developments for surface and fixed wing platforms will come later.
Helicopter launched MRAShM is vital at the moment. But really, surface launch needs to be developed as well for OPV, FAC, Tuzla class and more importantly for ULAQ.

What do you think which guidance seeker should MRAShM have? I suggest IR guidance like Kara Atmaca.
Radar seeker emits signals so it's easy to be detected. For middle range IR guidance with GPS would be great.

İf it's a MRAShM , it has IR seeker.

Most medium range missiles like Harpoon and Exocet use active radar homing. Our Som-j uses terrain referenced navigation and IIR seeker. Israeli Gabriel 5/Mk4 and SKorean Haeseong have 200km ranges and both use active radar homing. Marte ER has over 100km range and use active radar too.
True; Radar homing can be detected. Spear-3 has all three, (radar, IR and laser homing) As IR seekers are passive they are stealthier.
Active radar homing is mainly used at the terminal stage though. INS and GPS guidance turns to active radar at terminal stage.
This missile needs to be effective, cheap and accurate. So a seeker head that we can manufacture most reliably, cheaply and in abundance should be chosen.

RPG-7 costs 500 USD, how much would laser guidance kit and laser pointer cost? Noone would buy it. If somebody needs laser guided mini missile, Turkey offers turnkey solution which is less complex and more compact. I don't think rpg with laser guidance will cost less than Roketsans mini missile.

Micro-munition works independent from the RPG launcher. Same as with grenade launcher. It does not require dedicated equipment other than the laser designator which would be required for both 40mm and RPG. Would be amazing if assembling the smart RPG round is easy as assembling typical RPG round. You basically add the micro-munition as warhead to the propellant.

This gives better idea.
