In short, he mentioned a Mach 5 a2a missile, which we have developed.
If you listen to him carefully he is saying
“now look, this is a cruise missile”
Not an a2a missile. But a cruise missile.
Besides, what they are discussing is the opening of the internal weapon bay doors of the TFX, over a very old computer generated animation mock up.
You can’t really take that seriously.
I still stand by what I have written on my post #4851.

Just to add; fire a trg230 type missile from that plane at 40000ft whilst flying at 1.3 Mach, that trg230 may possibly hit 5mach and more at apogee.

I wish we would order the system with more launcher, like the Chinese ones. At least 12 tubes.

That one in that photo you are talking about, is a TRG230 MLRS battery in service with the 24th infantry division of Bangladesh land force. And it is not a Chinese configuration but supplied by Roketsan.

The ship they’ve ”torpedoed”, wasn’t that a Gabya class ship (originally Oliver Hazard Perry class)? When did the TN retire any of its Gabya class vessels?
I strongly believe that it’s from a US Navy exercise (or even Australian or Spanish or any other former users) edited to the end.

EDIT: I stand corrected. Turns out there was a ninth vessel purchased as spare and it was torpedoed by TCG Sakarya.
All credit goes to @babayetu (y)

What's the difference between Çakır CR and Çakır AS? The seekers are the same, so are the warhead. Is it only the color?

Also, what's the progress on the Çakır missiles?
