The ship they’ve ”torpedoed”, wasn’t that a Gabya class ship (originally Oliver Hazard Perry class)? When did the TN retire any of its Gabya class vessels?
I strongly believe that it’s from a US Navy exercise (or even Australian or Spanish or any other former users) edited to the end.

This should be from an exercise in 2017. We bought 9 OHP, 8 had been refitted and recommissioned, 1 was kept for spare hulk parts, the one used for sinkex in this video is USS Duncan. The submarine is TCG Sakarya.

What's the difference between Çakır CR and Çakır AS? The seekers are the same, so are the warhead. Is it only the color?

Also, what's the progress on the Çakır missiles?

Çakır cr is for land targets çakır as is antiship. So they should differantiate in software and attack profiles ( for ex: as should be sea skimming while cr can fly at some hundred feet attitutes)

Could be, but it doesnt make sense, since land cruise missiles also highly benefit from being terrain-skimming missiles.

It would be interesting to see what kind of 'missiles' Roketsan jointly develops with Tawazun.

I remember reading few months back that UAE decided to pursue foreign help in development of a man-portable,fire and forget atgm system with top attack capabilities. One would assume that Karaok licensed production would be their goal if Turkey allows it.
Not sure if that project is finished though and whether Karaok is still in test phase or it entered TSK inventory.

According to the information obtained; The Memorandum of Understanding aims for both companies to devote resources to developing high-precision and high-speed missile systems, and to highlight their "speed is the new stealth" capabilities. For this reason, it is estimated that the cooperation covers cruise missiles and anti-ship missiles.

I think we will see more cooperation between the two sides 👆🏻 seems the UAE may be taking seriously trying to produce in country as much as possible

“Under the contract, HALCON will send employees to TÜBİTAK SAGE for training in formulating composite propellants and liners on a laboratory scale. Two HALCON employees will be sent to TÜBİTAK SAGE for a month-long course over the next 18 months.”

Very bad move.
It is a bad move lmao, the politics of the Middle East are unstable as hell. One day enemies the next allies and vice versa.

If they weren’t trained there they would’ve been trained elsewhere though. EDGE has been investing heavily into paying for education for their engineers.

The gulf states are spending more money on West and Korean weapons without getting any kind of transfer technology but why Turkey gives them her technology easly when they are making any important contracts from turkish weapons even they team up against turkish interests

ToT doesn't always mean all the tech

Market penetration.

Gulf states have even a younger defense industry than Turkiye, till a few years ago they could not produce much but are very eager like Turkiye to gather knowhow.

In the past we could not deliver many things, those what we could they bought (like Otokar Arma). Now they go for technological stuff and look for knowhow partners.

trade = demand and supply

Why they're not getting ToT from west although they are waiting money for them

I’m gonna be very blunt right now, most of the work being done in the UAE industry is by South Africans. Brazilians are now coming in fairly large numbers.

They saw the opportunity and took it and it was a smart decision. If they tried to start from scratch they’d be moving at snails pace.

And so? It is not like firms just give all the information, this one is for training just 2 engineers
It’s not something high tech or ToT really, a bunch of companies provide similar training. Composite propellant production isn’t super complex in any way.

And like you said, 2 engineers is almost insignificant.
