We are building constructing and overseeing the construction of multiple Ada class corvettes and an I class frigate at the same time at the moment.

Turkey is transitioning from a defensive position to a proactive position. The tools in our hands are not perfect yet but given the situation the leadership is doing brilliantly, despite all the challenges

Just to refresh our minds; ongoing naval projects (under construction as of 2021).
(Ignoring boats and USVs)

- TCG Derya, Fleet logistic ship (not some tiny bit little replenishment vessel, check the details by searching)
- 2 LDGs (rather small ~100m vessels with no urgency, almost done and will be delivered this and next year)
- AKDG ,contract signed for 2, 8 more to come rapidly, will be corvette/OPV.
- TCG Istanbul
- Reis Class (coming along nicely)
- TCG Anadolu

In Addition;
- Barbaros MLU that will put the ships in the upper league

What is to come, expected soon and verified;
- Coastal RAS (Light logistic vessel)
- Multi purpose ocean going tug (2-3)

We are only seeing the combatant side, but Navy is under a whole modernization and capability upgrade. Most of the tech requested by TN is already fulfilled, only one link of chain is missing and will be completed within next year. Beyond that, there will be no excuses to not freeze designs, they will bravely start construction by batches.

I may not be the only one feeling a bit urgency with all the geopolitics going on. But I would very much like to have more armed and dangerous vessels delivered to TN than dragging our feet.

Looking at how Dearsan delivers plenty of awesome vessels to costumers I wish we could get them as well.

Minister of National Defense Hulusi AKAR received information about the work done at the MKEK stand. After the single shots for the 76mm gun, the serial shot trial was also completed.
work has also accelerated for the 127mm model. In addition, studies are carried out with MKEK solution partners for the domestic production of 76/62mm smart ammunition.
