Some people draw parallels between Ada and Freedom class.

Ada class as I see it is versatile enough to use systems from other NATO countries if export permit is given.

If you compare it with Pohang class from South Korea it'll have lesser armament, but what's the point of overarming a vessel. Its mission objective is clear.

Have you checked out the engines of freedom class? 47 knot max speed achieved with 2 x RR MT30 gas turbines and 4 x RR waterjets. Plus Pielstick diesels. It is a 3500+ ton ship. More like I-Class in size but heavier.
But it is a versatile ship like the Milgem class.
Pohang is the lightweight version of our Ada corvette. Doesn’t have helicopter deck. Even if it is loaded with loads of weapons. Ada Class armament is more effective. For ASW and versatility, you can not replace a Seahawk Helo .
My only criticism of Ada Class is it‘s weakness in air defence.

For Burak class MM-38 Exocets are already dead I guess. we are considering Cirit and Umtas. is worth it ? or do you thing they are also considering to use Turkish medium range anti ship missiles for Burak class @Anmdt
Our new MRAShM with TJ-300 engine could be a candidate for this ship if they decide not to use the Atmaca. With radars renewed they may decide on the latter.

For now we may think they are checking possible use of some systems within the conjecture of ASW and Offshore Patrol.

Thinking about the rumours that Hisar Class may be also used as an ASW patrol ship with rocket launchers and towed sonar ( along with other systems) they may replace entire Burak Class too.

Why this modernization was not extended to other ships? I believe this is the only ship which received this upgrade. In addition afaık we have stocked enough 76mm to supply other ships. So is that mean navy didn't like or need this modernization or it is not seen feasible?
@corsair255

This upgrade was actually a demonstration of what can be done, how and to what extend. No money came out of the pockets of the Navy or DoD; the modernization cost of this very first one is born by the contractors like Havelsan etc. Of course, in this, the gains to be made, if the modernization is accepted were taken into consideration as to set a sprat to catch a mackarel. It may have been put on hold, most likely because the Navy or the DoD did not have the money to cover such a project. Or, it may have been suspended, considering that the ships are quite old.

First-time bow section of Submarine has been produced in Turkey.

The bow section (Section 50), which only a limited number of countries in the world can produce, contains submarine torpedo tubes, was produced for the first time in Turkey, with local and national resources, under STM engineering and coordination. The first Section 50 produced for Reis class submarines was delivered to Gölcük Shipyard Command. T.R. President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir said, “The localization of Section 50 has been an important experience gain on the way to the National Submarine Project.”

STM has shown a submarine (more looking like an LUUV-XLUUV) design in somewhere, yet nothing has been told about it.
Looking at the second sketch, it could be an unmanned semi-submersible or convertible design with combined Vertical-X rudder configuration.

In the section they belong. Unmanned submarines of STM (If it is an unmanned submarine) will be one of the most strategic and game changer product. It is great to see the design. Thanks for sharing bro.

New EH System Equipment on İSTİF and BARBAROS Class Frigates
Unlike previously shared CGI images and scale models, the ISTIF Class Frigates will not have the ASELSAN AREAS-2N Radar Electronic Attack System. It will instead be featured with AREAS 2NC Radar ET System and Sub-Band and Upper-Band Antennas.
