100 km range air defense missile for Turkish warships

Turkish warships will be equipped with air defense missiles with a range of 100 kilometers. Work on integration started within Roketsan.
TCG İSTANBUL (F-515), the first ship of the MİLGEM İSTİF Class Frigate Project, is planned to enter service this year. After the embargo on the air defense missile and vertical launch system, Roketsan started working to develop both systems.
In this context; The National Vertical Launch Launcher System (MIDLAS), developed by Roketsan, was integrated into the ISTANBUL Frigate after the launch from land. HİSAR-O RF Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile was adapted to sea conditions and launched with
MİDLAS .
It is expected that MİDLAS and HİSAR-D RF launches will be carried out via TCG İSTANBUL in a short time. On the other hand, after the HİSAR-D RF, which is estimated to have a range of approximately 35-40 kilometers, the SİPER Product-1 Missile will be transformed into a MİDLAS compatible structure and will be offered to Turkish warships. With a range of 100+ kilometers ,
SİPER Product-1 will be the longest-range air defense missile of the Turkish Navy.
According to information obtained by SavunmaSanayiST.com; Within the scope of integration studies, some hardware and software works will be carried out to make SİPER Product-1 suitable for sea conditions. On the other hand, the land-launched version of the SİPER Product-1 Missile is planned to enter the Turkish Armed Forces inventory in 2023-24.
SİPER Product-1 is the first long-range air defense missile developed by Turkey with national resources.
SIPER Product-2, the first shot of which was fired recently, has a range of 150 kilometers. SİPER Product-2 is expected to enter the inventory in the 2024-25 band.
In the final stage, it is planned to adapt existing air defense missiles to the Quad-Pack structure and to develop new air defense missile system solutions for naval platforms. Thanks to its Quad-Pack capability, a 16-cell MIDLAS will be able to accommodate up to 64 air defense missiles.

@Anmdt I have a question, do HISAR/SIPER actually require AKR-D's illumination as they have their own active seeker? Or do AKREP provides data link for mid course update? I mean, what role does it perform when firing active seeker missiles?
