I mean surely all of these developments are result of siper system maturing, if EIRS and CENK-S perform good, we shouldn't worry. Regardless of whether UMR is on same level as AN/ SPY-6, it seems to at least work on same principle.

Fire control in essence, but not as a whole (note that despite SPY-6, American BMD ships had tracking radars for long range precision/illumination). It will track the targets within a certain range, but I think something will remain as a task of the CFR (like ammunition separation, TBMD, UAV detection and so on).So, in essence UMR will provide fire control beyond the range of CFR? Also, how likely it is that Aselsan got their first long range naval AESA sensor as good as SPY-6?

We don't need aircraft carriers to protect our country, that doesn't even make sense. Aircraft carriers are for projecting power far away from your country, not staying close to it.We need AC , not 1 but 2 so i support if UK want to sell it its new and we can build another one ourself . Before an Aircraft carrier you need aircrafts.
I'm not really defending his point, but if US wanted to put a backdoor entry or killswitch to complex and closed digital systems in any of its advanced weapons, it would probably be trivial effort for them.We don't need aircraft carriers to protect our country, that doesn't even make sense. Aircraft carriers are for projecting power far away from your country, not staying close to it.
And about F-16s being controlled via their computers stuff, you need a reality check mate. That's not how anything works.

it doesnt mean that we will purchase all of it. Or any of it.

Al Doha Class cadet training/OPV ships are not something huge or very special, but I think they would be a simple and not so expensive design as a training ship for the navy. Anadolu already built 2 of them back to back and very fast. Put a 30mm gun on the bow, work it as an OPV when needed. It'd be a great addition to train sailors, not just Turkish but now Somali as well.

No project cost was made public. From a quick skim, most I could find was a 800 million dollar figure for all the projects signed by Turkish companies in Dimdex 2018, which also include 200+ NMS from Nurol, 85 Kirpi and Amazon from BMC, 6 TB2s from Baykar, 9 boats up to 50 meters from Ares and 8 MRTP-24s from Yonca Onuk.Do we know much does it cost per unit?
