Dont worry,Baykar will build military ships next, our navy will be the best!!!Might as well just sell all the ships except the TCG Anadolu and transfer that to Baykar for advertiment then close the Navy at this point lol
Don't worry they can use its deck for events sponsored by Baykar. At this rate Mugem will not only lack any helicopter or fighter jets to take off from it but also a mission group to protect it. We are building it as a museum piece I suppose
Trumpeanism its called, money money money. What is more hilarious is that Indonesia will be the first ones with MIDLAS Strike capabilities and Siper meanwhile the Navy will continue licking the window in front of the bakery.
And people will tell you that this is fine.
Why fast delivery, for what reason does your navy need those ships urgently?Bro i heard rumor that our country can take TCG Anadolu , (take grain with salt lol) but the plan is having 4 LHD, and the presinden want fast delivery, but i dont shock if we can take your LHD and build remaining in our local Shipyard
The greater East Asian War, look like he hear or have info about thatWhy fast delivery, for what reason does your navy need those ships urgently?
Do you know?
We do and we dont but it has nothing to do with those ships, they are financed by Qatar to ''help'' Indonesia.Maybe we don't have money enough for EF or the purchase of Qatars EF is on the condition of selling Istif.
My only credible source for this matter is Naval News (Tayfun Ozberk) and Defence Turkey (if they published any article). Sadly, Defence Turk and SavunmaSanayiST, and M5 lost credibility to me, along with the people attached or overseeing those.Fatih says it's not yet clear which ships Indonesia will buy and there's nothing but the original MoU and the recent financing deal with Barzan. But adds Indonesian government is pushing for the shortest available delivery timeline.
There are lots of Istifs coming online in the next 4 years. We are expecting the last 8th ship to be delivered by 2030. I also agree that moving the Indonesian order to the second batch, at least one of them could be an acceptable workaround for both parties. That way, TN would receive 2 frigates by end of 2027 and 5 by 2030, Indonesia would get one this year and a second one by 2028-29.
Should be for maintenance as well. Remember when earlier an USN ship has gone through a mishap and been drydocked and repaired in Turkey.USN NAVSEA delegation visited Istanbul Shipyard Command.
I don't think this ever happened before, maybe during transfer of OHPs or earlier. Interesting to say the least; but navy did show the world that it can handle so many things all at once, sharing workload between state and private shipyards at rapid succession. There are indeed things they can learn from us. I wouldn't expect a USD based deal like export of ships or technology, maybe we can see a deal for maintenance of local USN ships in the future.
The point is not all those 7 being built concurrently. The delivery of last hull safely marks 2030, or end of 2030 if everything goes as planned.I mean since 7 are under construction, it could maybe make sense to sell one of the second batch, but selling not one but two from first batch after staff have been assigned is not nice.
