Pakistan shoots down Indian quadcopter violating airspace near LoC
Quoting security sources, report says "enemy attempted to conduct surveillance" using drone; UAE joins chorus favouring dialogue.www.dawn.com
Security forces located the Pahalgam attackers “at least four times” in different spots over the past five days, came “very close” to cornering them in the forests of South Kashmir — and, on one such occasion, even exchanged fire with them, The Indian Express has learnt.
The terrorists were located through information obtained from local residents, intelligence inputs and combing operations, sources said. “It’s a cat and mouse game. There have been moments where they have been visibly located. But by the time they could be engaged, they had escaped. The forests are very thick and it’s not easy to chase someone even after visibly locating them. But we are sure we will get them, it’s only a matter of days,” an officer from the military establishment told this newspaper.
Well pakistanis are itching for their military to conduct preemptive strikes to begin withPakistani Minister for Information & Broadcasting:
"Pakistan has credible intelligence that India intends to launch a military operation in the next 24 to 36 hours, using the Pahalgam incident as a pretext. Any aggression will be met with a decisive response. India will bear full responsibility for the possible disastrous consequences in the region."
It is better to stand and resist than to surrender to the mercy of those who threaten us with genocide. The Indian state seeks to starve us by cutting off our water and is implementing Gaza style tactics in IIOJK to break our will. Its gonna be a bloodbath if outright war happens.
Especially in a place like Kashmir.
Ignorance at its peak if one assumes India's actions are a result of 26 fatalities in this terrorist attack. We've been a victim of terrorism and there have been people being killed or soldiers/police targeted in Kashmir every month for several decades now

A confidential report of the Indian Joint Defence Staff, dated April 26, was leaked, creating concern in military and political circles. The document reveals that the Indian armed forces are currently unprepared for large-scale operations, and points to low soldier morale, rising discontent, mass dismissals and cases of evasion of duty.
The key issues are:
Shortages of ammunition and weapons
Delays in adopting new technologies
Slowness of command decision-making processes
Inadequate logistical support at the front
Despite assistance from Israeli advisors and defence firms, no significant improvement has been seen; only internal tensions have increased.
The report highlights the growing anxiety along the Line of Control (LoC), citing serious weaknesses in the Air Force and Navy, vulnerability of infrastructure (power grids, logistics, communications) to air strikes, declining troop confidence and major economic risks in the event of an escalation. It also notes a dependence on foreign weapons, contradicting claims of self-sufficiency.
The document ends with a request to contact the responsible officer, Captain R.K. Singh, Navy, for further information.
