Here is a feature from Vanguard magazine on the new CCG Polar Class 2s characteristics being built by SeaSpan Marine in Vancouver to date!. Her "Design" weight of 26,036 tons may not be her "full-load" weight. I suspect it may come in heavier at between 28-30,000 tons. In any case, one of the largest Ice Breakers in the world!
