Engine seems twice as long compared to tf6000. I cannot really imagine two of those can fly something like hürjet.

Seems like what needed to be strong about the TF-10000 is particularly the casing. Faster exhaust flow creates venturi effect and causes the unsupported case to sink/collapse towards the center. Hence the strenghtening veins on the case.

Mr Akşit: "We can cast all nickel, titanium and super alloys in Turkey. There are 4-5 countries in the world that have this technology. We will implement them in the TF-10000 and use them in the MMU engine. We know we can and do achieve supersonic speeds for the MMU engine without running an afterburner"

Seems like they already have a preliminary design?

Seems like nobody is talking about the MMU engine tender any more, and TEI sounds confident that they know they will get the deal.

Lets be honest here
TEI is progressing way too quickly; earlier this year, they announced the presence of TF-6000 and the prototype will be available by next year and just today they announced the mock-up for TF-10000 which requires different engine core to withstand the afterburner

TEI is progressing quickly and if Rolls Royce doesnt wanna give Turkey IP rights then lets just go with TEI since their products are always of decent quality

At the production stage TEI would be involved and they do the production whether or not RR get involved in the design process I believe. RR can still be involved for taking shortcuts to a succesful engine seamlessly. TEI only lack experience in the design process but a little risk puts more excitement for the fanfare to watch. I find no harm in relying on TEI alone for our turbine engines.

If RR is chosen with kale, tei still should go with its own design for mmu. Only with this, we can have necessary capabilities for the next engines that we will develop for our ships, for our newer fighters and for energy producing factories using gas turbines.

Mr Akşit: " The next target after tf10000 is 35000lb turbofan engine(Tf35000) directly. It will be a huge engine and the tf10000 will be a miniature of the technologies of the MMU engine. We are currently conducting preliminary studies for MMU engine. According to our analysis, the TF35000 will accelerate MMU to 1.4 Mach and above without afterburner. Our analyzes show that we can build this engine"

"Preliminary work continues for coolimg technology of hot regions of TF35000 in order to hide its infrared trace. The Tf35000 will make MMU a true 5th generation aircraft. We will develop it and hand it over to our state, inshallah"

"The day we run the tf10000 you will feel that we can build the engine of the MMU"
